The nucleus is the boss of the cells. It controls every activity and procedure that the rest of the cell does.

Mr. Boss - Nucleus

Mr. Boss is the Manager of the Candy Factory. He controls everything that happens in the factory. Every candy that is made and every activity that happens.

Nuclear Membrane

The Nucleus Membrane is the thin wall-like structure that surrounds the Nucleus. It keeps any unwanted stuff out of the cell. The Nuclear Membrane works as a filter

Security- Nuclear Membrane

The security keeps everyone out of the factory. The factory has dangerous equipment that can hurt someone if they misuse it. The security also makes sure nothing important gets out.

Mitochondria

Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. They control what food is used as nutrition and break down the food into nutrients. They work to keep the rest of the organelles working smoothly.

Mrs. MitoCEOndria - Mitochondria

Mrs. MitoCEOndria is the CEO of The Candy Factory. She runs all of the operations for the entire business. She breaks down revenue into paychecks for the workers and controls what is sold from the factory.

Golgi Body

The Golgi Body (or the Golgi Complex) Takes nutrients broken down by the Mitochondria and delivers them to the parts of the cell that need them the most.

Assistant- Golgi Body

The assistant to the CEO takes the CEO's orders and delivers them to the workers in the factory. She gives them their paychecks and promotions.

Endoplasmic Reticulum

The Endoplasmic Reticiulum connects membranes to the nucleus and transports nutrients and other needs of the organelles.

Conveyor Belts- Endoplasmic Reticulum

The conveyor belts transport the candy to the different steps of the assembly line. The candy gets made, put in boxes, and shipped to the customer.

Vacuoles

Vacuoles are where the food for the cells is stored. They hold the food until the cell needs it.

Storage Rooms - Vacuoles

There are many types of storage rooms at the candy factory. The storage rooms can hold anything. They can hold paperwork for the sales of candy and there are storage rooms for factory supplies, like boxes to put candy in.
