Amelia Earhart was (born in
july 24 1897)and grew up in
Atchison city.






As a child Amelia spent her school years
living with her grandparents Alfred and
Amelia Otis and and the summer with her
parents.But she had some bad times her
parents got divorce. And Amelia and muriel
her sister live with her mother. Amelia's
grandmother, who raised her, dies in 1911.
Her father struggles with alcoholism, losing
his job

At the age of 12 she saw her first plane at
first she wasn't impress “It was a thing of
rusty wire and wood and looked not at all
interesting.” till the age of 19. And started
having flying lesson and her parents help
her out of paying the lesson. And after that
they couldn't pay her lesson no more.So
Ameila took many old jobs to pay her
flying lessons. And finally got her license!

In June, she went to Miami to again begin a
flight around the world, this time with Fred
Noonan as her navigator. No one knows why,
but she left behind important communication
and navigation instruments. The pair made it
to New Guinea in 21 days, even though
Earhart was tired and ill. During the next of
the trip, they departed New Guinea for
Howland Island, a tiny island in the middle of
the Pacific Ocean. July 2, 1937, was the last
time Earhart and Noonan communicated with
a nearby Coast Guard ship. They were never
heard from again.

Amelia beat the record on October 22, 1922
Broke women's altitude record when she
rose to 14,000 feet and after June 17-18,
1928. First woman to fly across the Atlantic;
20hrs 40min she was very adventurous and
outgoing and she had lots of courage then
June 25, 1930 - Set women's speed record
for 100 kilometers with no load, and with a
load of 500 kilograms and one of her quotes
was
“Courage is the price."that life exacts for
granting peace.”

She was more famous than before her
mystery.And everybody went to got look for
her. Now people believe that she was dead or
The Japanese shot down her plane and
captured her. She ended up in prison on the
island of Saipan where she either was
executed or died of dysentery. another theory
was She assumed a fake identity and lived
until 1982 in New Jersey.
But her death is a mystery.
