Geography

In this unit we talk about geography.  Geography can be lines of Latitude and Longitude, or reading different types of maps. I am going to tell you about Latitude and Longitude. Latitude are lines that run from East to West. But Longitude lines run from North to South. The main line for each are called The Equator which is a latitude line and The Prime Meridian is a longitude line. They meet at 0 degrees.

Economics

Economics is a system where people use, make, and exchange items that have worth. Such as food, clothing, medicine and much more. Based on some countries product that is how they measured development.

government

Government is organizations that enforce and come up with laws. There are a ton of different types of government such as Constitutional Monarchy. Constitutional Monarchy is a government with a queen or king or an emperor, but they have little power. Instead parliaments which are people who get elected and they make the laws. Another type of government could be Oligarchy. Oligarchy can be rule by more than one person or a small group. But the people who live under Oligarchy have little to no control.

Culture 

This unit is about culture, culture is what you belief in, what kind of food you eat, and even the sports you play. Ethnocentrism plays a big part to culture, meaning you tend to think that your culture is better than others. Cultural diffusion is important too, it means how past ideas have effect to the world now.

Religion

Religion is the beliefs you practice and worship. There are five different types of religions. The five are, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity and Judaism. The most popular religion in America is Christianity. People who follow Christianity are called Christians. The founder is Jesus and the place Christians worship their god is in a church.

River Civilization

One main River Civilization includes The Indus Valley River Civilization. The Indus Valley River provided fertile soil, fishing, transportation and mud for making buildings. It developed around the time as Egypt and Mesopotamia did. The Mesopotamians traded with the people of The Indus Valley. The people of The Indus Valley used oracle bones to carve in writing mostly Chinese.
