Adventure is found at the intersection of two conflicting notions - finding meaning while confronting the inevitable fears when we venture into the unknown.

The inner person, our spirit, somehow knows and demands that our restless soul find meaning and conquer our fear. Adventure is found at the intersection of these two conflicting notions - finding meaning while confronting the inevitable fears when we venture into the unknown. 

Without stepping into the place where we start risking our comfort and feelings of safety, we will never know the thrill of finding the adventure which makes life worth living. But how to avoid the entrapment of selecting the way which seems correct to us but ends in the death of our hopes and dreams? This is our dilemma.

The inner person and the inner voice, or intuition, calls to us to respond to the call to the risk and the uncertainty. But fear also hears the call and gets to us before we can move in any direction. Without resolve to move in a specific direction with a sense of mission, often our response is to not move. 

Trouble is…you cannot steer a car that is not moving, so our purpose and our missions are left unfulfilled. We are stuck in complacency, worry, uncertainty, and lack of fulfillment. 

Take the first step toward your future with trust, boldness, and slow but sure progress into your future.

The universe seems determined to provide us with a sense of living on the edge of safety while reaching beyond our complete understanding or certainly of outcome. When we get to that place of living the life for which we were created, that is our calling, our destiny. 

Then we are in the place God has designed us for. 

When Spirit whispers to us, when the way forward is unfolding in a way that thrills, frightens, and gives us the zest which only honest adventure can produce, then we are living in the present the life for which we were designed. 

Adventure becomes our experience in life.

Today, say yes to your calling. 

The way which may yield failure but will also provide the opportunity to achieve that for which you were created.

Remember...you are living an adventure provided by the loving God of the universe and he cares for you.
