Hi! My name is Naina, and I'm 9 years old.

Naina doesn't have a family, she was put up for adoption when she was 3 years old.     

    Her mum and dad were hit by a car on their way to a party, they sadly got hurt very badly and died.

Adoption means that a little kid's parents can't give them the best life possible and can't take care of them. Maybe they can't afford food, they may not be alive anymore, or maybe it isn't safe for the kid to live with them.

    So then they are taken to a special organization, which will take care of them until they find a new family that will love them and take care of them! 

    For example, if a kid is put up for adoption a family will come and visit them and maybe take them home for a little while, if they like being part of that family then they get a adopted by them and become a part of their family forever!

Today I'm going to meet a new family.

A new family is going to come and visit Naina. They will spend some time together just like you would in a family !

Jasleen, Milan, and Naina got to know each other while they ate.

Soon they started to bond together.

    So Naina would go visit them regularly at their apartment. One night after dinner, she asked if she could stay overnight

 for a sleepover.

Can I please stay over? I feel lonely with out you guys now.
