"Okay, I guess i'll start, I think everyone should get the vaccine because studies have shown that it prevents you from getting sick.”
The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. It was as if the world went silent. No one wanted to say a word.
" Woah there, we don't even know for a fact that the vaccine works, or if it even helps prevent COVID."

" "It has been proven by scientists that the vaccine successfully helps COVID
Ben looked at Carl with confusion. He knew Carl would always joke around, being sarcastic, so it never really got to him. Ben also tried to always see the best in people, and wanted to make something good out of a bad situation.

Others around them were mumbling words to each other that staring at Ben and Carl.

"No vaccine has completely stopped something, it simply helps lower your chances of contracting the virus. Not only that but it has also been proven to cause health problems to some people who get it.

Ben was starting to lose his patience. The sweat from his palms were starting to gather up as the fist formed. A man in the back was particularly curious about what Ben was going to do. The man Noticed Ben's fist starting to raise, and he knew he had to interfere.

"Okay, that's enough for now."
Everyone released their breath that they had been holding, and made their way out of the room. Ben, overly filled with anger, took a walk to the bathroom to clear his mind. As he stood there washing his face, Carl approached him.

"We are being childish. We are going to argue over something we can't even control."

The bathroom was silent. The only noise made was the droplets of water falling from the leak in the air vent. After a few moments, the silent was broken.
“ I agree, it was very unprofessional of me to behave that way towards anyone, especially one of my very own students, '' said Ben with a guiltful look on this face. “ Our opinions and arguments are unnecessary, as it is up to individuals whether they get it or not.”
Both started to losen their posture, and the anger they had previously felt started to fade.

I am truly sorry Mr. Ross, I was disrespectful, and I caused an unnecessary argument.”
“ Do not be sorry Carl, this is just as much my fault as it is yours.”

They both left the bathroom, and went on with their day. Mr. Ross later apologized to the people in the room, as did Carl, for their unprofessional actions. Ben and Carl both used this argument as a learning experience, and made sure it never happened again.
