That is very bad for us , the population is getting bigger then our food supply . This caused a famine , which cause the rising in prices, this lead to bread riots.

These three estates had the power on deciding on the levying of new taxes and to undertake reforms in the country. 

May 5 1789, The meeting of the estate general is about to began. The meeting is composed of the clergy, nobility and commoners. 

The king of France, Louis XVI, had been having huge money problems for years. On one hand, he was financing his luxurious lifestyle at the Palace of Versailles, and on the other hand France's military involvement in the American War of Independence had created a huge loss in money.
