I dedicate this book to Gandhi for his contributions he made.

Thrown of the Train
Gandhi was sitting first class on a train heading to Pretoria when a white man question him. He believed that Gandhi didn't have the right to be in first class. They began arguing and soon Gandhi was physically thrown off the train.
Burning the Passes
Gandhi held a meeting and discussed the fact that everyone should be equal. He showed his anger by burning his pass the British government gave to only Indians, and many followed him. Police became angry and cruelly beat Gandhi every time he lifted his arm to burn a pass. He did this all while not fighting back at all.
State of Ashram and Poverty in India
Indians were being controlled and treated poorly by the British government in their own country. The British were more wealthy while Indians lived in poverty. Most Indian jobs were either working in mines or harvesting crops.
Day of fasting and prayer/Generel strike/ Amritsar massacre
Gandhi started a day of fasting and prayer so that people would stop marching. The general strike was an event where no one went to work and held a parade to sell his paper. The Amritsar Massacre was a terrible event where soldiers invaded a meeting of nonviolence and opened fire on everyone there. 1,516 casualties and 1,650 bullets.
Protesters/Police killed/ Gandhi's fast
A nonviolence protest was held to show India's anger of the British power when police began to beat protesters. More protesters saw what was going on and decided to fight back, the police retreated back to their station when protesters threw fire in the station sand beat them to death. Because of this Gandhi started to fast so people would stop marching and protesting.
