Thrown Off the Train (1893)
In 1893 Gandhi was traveling 1st class on a train when he was thrown off and harassed. He was told to go back to the general class because of his skin color. In reaction, Gandhi refuses which gets him thrown off the train

Burning the Passes (1908)
In 1908 Gandhi gathers a group of Indians and convinces them to burn the passes that registered them as Indian. While Gandhi is burning the passes the police beat him but this doesn't stop Gandhi, he keeps burning them one by one. As a result, Gandhi is sent to the hospital for his injuries and after he is cleared he is sent to jail.

State of India/ Living in an Ashram/ Poverty in Inda
Everybody living in Ashrams in India lived together and shared Chores. On May 25th, 1915 Gandhi creates his own Ashram for experimenting with living and farming. Ashrams were used commonly by Indians when they wanted to go on a religious retreat. However, In India it was 2 sided, citizens were either poor or they were rich.

Day of Fasting and Prayer/ General Strike/ Amritsar Massacre
In 1919 Gandhi orders a day of fasting and prayer which also means that no Indian citizens could go to work. This causes Gandhi to be arrested which leads to riots caused by his followers, these riots were so brutal that people were dying. On April 13th a peaceful protest was being held in Amritsar which at the time was illegal. The protestors were not aware of this law so in their eyes they were not doing anything wrong. Law enforcement reacts to this by gather sepoy, blocking the only exit out of Amritsar, and opening fire on the protestors killing 379 people including women and children. Law enforcement said they did this to "prove a point".

Protestors/ Police Killed/ Gandhi's Fast
In 1921 a small group of peaceful protestors that were burning their British clothing were jumped by police officers. When surrounding protestors see this it causes them to get revenge on the police by killing them. This stirs up a lot of angry riots and fighting which upsets Gandhi. To fix the violence Gandhi goes on a hunger strike till all the killing and fighting stops which is successful.
