Food and Beverage :
It's stereotypical to think of sausages, beer, and bread when one thinks of German culture, however in reality those really are crucial aspects to German culture. Referring to bread specifically, Germans have breads of all different shapes, sizes, and even color! Of course to compliment the bread Germans drink lots of beer, an estimated 140 liters per year (Gent).



Music :
While visiting Germany, you may come across an opera house or several. Historical, musical composers, Bach and Beethoven were German themselves. Music holds a strong presence in Germany.

Literature :

To support Germans love for literature, Germany is the designated location for the most notorious book event worldwide called, Frankfurt Book Fair. Religion:
While in America religions can vary, Germany is similar. About 65-70% of German citizens consider themselves Christians/Catholics. Along with that, 4.4% resonate with the Muslim religion. This leaves about 36% of German citizens not identifying themselves with a religion at all, (Gent).

Fashion:
Theres the infamous costumes citizens of different German countries wear, but what do German people casually wear?
In simple terms Germans keep their style simple, focusing on dark colors, as well as business attire, (Gent).


Historical Fun Fact:
Infamous scientist, Albert Einstein, was from Germany! More specifically, Albert Einstein was born in Wurttemberg, Germany, (Nobel).
