Word Wall-Description
A word wall is a collection of words that are on display to help enhance vocab, learning, spelling-words, and more. It will help to make sure the students are using repetition to learn the meaning or spelling of a word.
Word Wall-Example
A word wall can be extremely beneficial in a PE class because some of the students have might not heard certain words that are being used. By having a word wall with pictures it can help students visualize what they are learning. And after learning if they forget it, it is a nice reminder to them of what they just learned. Some words that can be used are hopping with a picture of a kid hopping or kicking with a picture of a kid kicking a ball.
Modeling

Modeling- Description
Modeling is when the teacher engages students by showing them how to perform a skill while describing each step with a rationale. This provides students with both a visual and verbal example of what they will be expected to do.
Modeling- Example
Modeling can be used with anything in a PE class, giving your students visual and verbal examples and instructions will help you students fully understand what it is that you want them to accomplish. An example could be the correct form to shoot a basketball, giving a modeling example could help the students visualize what you want them to do.
JigSaw Learning-

JigSaw Learning-Description
JigSaw Learning-Example
An example of Jigsaw learning could be that you have each group focus on learning about a different component of soccer. Once each group has mastered it you then rearrange the groups to have one person from each group in a group with each other and have them teach each concept to their group.
Exit ticket

Exit ticket- Description
Having a student complete an activity or answer a question that reflects on what was learned that day to ensure that the student has learned what was needed.
Exit ticket- Example
After a day of learning the correct was to dribble a basketball have each student dribble up the court with correct form before getting in line to leave class.
Think Pair Share- Description

Think Pair Share- Description
After presenting a lesson, pause the lecture for a moment to ask students to pair up with a partner. Have them discuss the material they just learned. Prepare questions, and, once they’ve had some time to discuss with their partner(s), get students to take turns presenting their observations to the rest of the class.
