The journey of the tiny water drop in the cloud was over and it was time to meet with the earth. With the first wind blowing, the tiny drop of water and its friends glided towards the earth.

Minik su damlasının buluttaki yolculuğu bitmişti ve sıra yeryüzü ile buluşmaya gelmişti. İlk rüzgarın esmesiyle birlikte minik su damlası ve arkadaşları yeryüzüne doğru süzüldüler.

Water droplets that fall to the ground, may land in rivers or even on the ground to then drain into underground water currents. All this water has to continue its long journey, traveling vast amounts of distance until it finally reaches the sea.

Yere düşen su damlacıkları nehirlere ve hatta yere düşerek yer altı su akıntılarına karışabilir. Tüm bu su, nihayet denize ulaşana kadar büyük mesafeler kat ederek uzun yolculuğuna devam etmelidir.

Tüm bu sular yeryüzünün  farklı yerlerine dağıldılar. Bu yerler geldikleri yerlere hiç benzemiyordu. Beraber nehirleri, gölleri, denizleri, akarsuları oluşturabiliyorlardı. Birlikte ne kadar büyük ve mutlulardı. Acaba onları yer yüzünde ne bekliyordu? Daha başka nerelere gideceklerdi? Bunları düşünmekten  alıkoyamıyorlardı. 

All these waters were scattered in different parts of the earth. These places were nothing like the places they came from. Together they could form rivers, lakes, seas, streams. How big and happy they were together. What awaits them on earth? Where else would they go? They couldn't stop thinking about it.

Bir grup su damlası toprağa düştü. Ağaçlar topraktan su damlacığını çekip büyümeye başladılar, meyveler oluştu sebzeler büyüdü, çiçekler açtı, her yer mis gibi koktu. Doğa yeniden canlandı.

A group of water drops fell to the ground. The trees started to grow by pulling the water droplet from the soil, fruits were formed, vegetables grew, flowers bloomed, everywhere smelled good. Nature revived.

Diğer gruptaki su damlaları ise sıcaktan bunalmış parkta oyun oynayan çocukların üzerine düştü. Çocuklar çok mutlu oldular. Biriken su göletlerine girip eğlendiler. Sevinçli ve bir o kadar da şaşkınlardı.

The drops of water in the other group fell on the children playing in the park, which was overwhelmed by the heat. The children were very happy. They entered the pools of accumulated water and had fun. They were happy and yet so surprised.
