Introduction

The appearance of the wild cat
An african lion child has no tufts and no mane. Therefore They look like a female when they are born . Also, They don't have to be tough because the cubs ( Those are what they call when they are small) are too young to go into the tall grass. They grow a mane only if the lion is a male. A mother usually gives birth about 2-4 cubs at a time. That is their physical appearance as a baby.

Diagram
The young called a cub stays with its parents to make a bigger group. Specifically called a pride. A pride of lions can range from 3 lions to as many as 30 lions. That is a lot of lions! That is why they stay with their parents.

The Diet and hunting
African lions eat lots of meat. For an example they eat zebras, warthogs,
wild beasts, and gazelles. Female lions hunt in groups. They surround their prey and attack. They share the food with pride. A hungry lion can eat 80 pounds or more meat. That is over 320 hamburgers!

the Diet and Hunting
Designed bodies for Hunting
An African lions' animal's body is designed to capture and eat its food . one of their adaptations for hunting is that their skin blends in with its surroundings. So that makes them look like they are never there. Also lions run really fast so that they don’t have a chance to run. and the prey won’t see them.
