Mhm
Very dangerous indeed, bla bla bla
Yes...bla bla bla bla...very dangerous
Is this what social media looks like to you?
Is this what it sounds like when your science teacher teaches the older kids?
Do they talk about strange things like... climate change?
Maybe they do, maybe they don't.
But what IS climate change?
Are your beach days getting longer? The summers hotter? Are there heat strokes in your area?
Well, THAT's climate change!
And you ask, why are you teaching me about longer beach days?
Well, imagine this.

And this is Tina. She also lives on the glacier. She loves to eat fish, but lately, the fish have been disappearing!
This is Timmy the Ice Bear. He lives on a glacier, like an island of ice! He loves his home!
For the past couple of months, Timmy has had trouble. His neighbor's, John's, house collapsed!
Why? Well, because while you get longer beach days, the ice on the glacier is melting!
And what about Tina and the disappearing fish?
Well, since the ice is melting, the water is warmer, and fish who like cold move away, so Tina can't have her fish! How unfair.
Now, imagine this.

This is Jimmy. He's a koala, and he lives in the rainforest. He loves to climb and hug!

And this is Jack the Parrot! He also lives in the rainforest, and he loves to fly and squawk!
The last time Jimmy tried to climb a tree, there was a fire! He escaped, but it was very scary, and his best friend Harry didn't manage to escape.
Why, you ask? Well, as the days get hotter than normal, the trees burn more easily! That hurts everybody who lives in the forest, and poor Jimmy lost his best friend!
Jack loves to perch on top of trees and call out to his friends, but not so many bird friends are coming, because the forest is too hot for them! Jack is very scared that he's going to be alone all his life and never find a mate. How unfair!
Another problem:
When we breathe (take a deep breath in, then out), we take in a gas, and we let out another gas!
When plants breathe (they live too, don't they), they take in the gas we let out, and send out the gas we take in!
So if we kill the plants, we lose some of the gas that we breathe in!
