Lifestyle and customs of tribal groups on the plains
The Lifestyles of tribal groups were that the Men would Be hunting, Building, and fighting in the wars and were the leaders of the group. The Women would be Farming, Cooking, Taking care of children, and cleaning. The main leadership of these groups would be the Chief, Tribal council, spiritual leaders, and respected elders.

Battle/Massacre at Wounded Knee
The people of the Lakota tribe grouped up at Wounded Knee Creek. The Lakota tribe was asked to give up their weapons and they refused. A shot was fired which caused a gunfight into a battle with 150 casualties. This is one of the battles of the American-Indian wars which led to the death of Chief Sitting Bull.

Sitting Bull and Native American Man with a high respect. Joined his first war at the age of 14 years old. Sitting Bull was a very powerful individual with leadership, spiritual leadership, and resistance to the U.S. Government. Sitting Bull soon became The chief of the Lakota tribe Because of military Leadership, the Battle of Little Bighorn, and a symbol of Resistance.

Lifestyle of American Settlers/ American Cowboys and Vaqueros
The Lifestyle of an American settler, American Cowboy, and vaquero were very similar. With cattle herding, horse back riding and lassoing really showed how they have very similar lifestyles. The cultures were also very similar with living in the outdoors and constantly moving around the whole country.

Problems with the railroad/abuses
There were many problems with the railroads with worker condition problems and even land and landowner ship problems. The workers were very unhappy with constant working in harsh weather and harsh working condition really caused a mental strain on the workers. There were also problems with kicked off Native Americans from their land to place railroad track there. Also The government granted land to businesses rather then settlers.
