My home town
Starachowice, Poland

Starachowice is a quite big city close to the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. It is in the south-east part of Poland. There are 60 thousands people in my town.

'Home is where my heart is.'

In my town there are 9 primary schools, 3 high schools, 2 technical schools and 2 vocational schools. My school is Primary School number 9. It is one of the oldest school.

In my town there are two swimming pools: indoor and outdoor; a stadium, 3 shopping centres, a few supermarkets, a sport centre, two cinemas, a few open-air gyms, 2 skateparks, but there isn't a theatre.

There are a lot of woods and a park so you can go for a walk. There are also 3 water reservoirs: Piachy, Lubianka and Pasternik. When it is summer you can spend time on the beach.

There is also a great Nature and Technology Museum where you can learn a lot about the history of industry in our region.
