Once upon a time, in a far off kingdom, There lived a sweet and content young sprite. Her name was Setrina. Setrina was about the size of your pinky finger. She loved flying and planting flowers. She had a skirt made of flower pedals.

One day, when she was flitting and fluttering through the fields, Setrina spotted a cat.  She loved cats, so she called to it. The cat turned and ran toward her. Setrina realized the cat thought she was some sort of bird! She began to fly, trying to escape the paws of the fast feline. 

Her efforts though, were in vain and she was knocked from the sky by the cats paw.  Setrina closed her eyes, bracing for impact. She fell through the sky at an alarming speed, until landing on something soft and squishy. Setrina opened her eyes. She was sitting on a mushroom cap. She sighed with relief; she seemed not to be hurt.

Setrina stood up and pain struck her left ankle. She fell back on the soft mushroom cap. She had sprained her ankle! She couldn't fly either! 

Setrina knew she must find help before the cat returned. Then an idea came to her. She'd ask the birds for help! Setrina dug through her skirt pocket and pulled out a set of reed pipes. She pulled the pipes to her lips and played the most beautiful tune. Soon, a small gray bird came and landed next to her! 

Setrina asked the bird to help her and she agreed. She hopped on the back of the little gray bird, and off they flew. 

Setrina had a great view from the birds back. She

could see the cat pacing the yard, the large and

towering oak tree, and her house made of sticks

underneath the great oak. She called to the bird to l

let her down by the tree.
