How to Knit
Do you know how to knit, I do to.
If you need help I can help you.
First you get your yarn.
Next you get your needles.
The needles are big.
Big as balloons.
The yarn is soft.
Soft as silk.
Then you get your yarn.
Then you make loops, lots of loops.
These loops are called stitches.
First your needle goes through the loopy loop.
Then you make an X with your needles.
Then you bring the yarn in the middle of
the X.
Then with the strength of a strong man you push the other needle though the other loop.
You repeat this special step untill you are done with the knitting.
This type of poem is called a "how to" poem. These poems explain roughly how to do something. They tend to be silly yet still informative.
