Luna, a young owl who’s afraid of the dark, 

discovers a secret about the stars—they can 

speak! One night, she meets a friendly star 

named Sparkle, who guides her through the 

night sky on an adventure to help other 

animals who are also afraid of the dark. Luna 

learns that the night is full of beauty and 

magic, and she overcomes her fear.

After Luna and Sparkle begin their adventure, 

they glide through the starry sky, where 

Sparkle shows Luna how the stars can twinkle 

and shimmer in different patterns to create 

constellations. Luna is amazed by the stories 

the constellations tell—like the brave lion, the 

wise old turtle, and the playful dolphin. As 

they soar above the treetops, Sparkle notices a small, frightened mouse named Milo, who is 

shivering in the shadows because he’s scared of the dark.

Luna and Sparkle gently descend to where Milo is hiding. Sparkle uses her light to create a soft, glowing path that makes the dark less scary. Luna tells Milo about the wonders of the night, showing him how the moonlight can make even the simplest things look magical. Together, they play a game called “Follow the Moonbeam, ” which makes Milo laugh and forget his fear. With Luna’s encouragement, Milo realizes that the night isn’t so scary when you have friends by your side.

Next, they fly to a meadow where a family of baby rabbits is huddled together, too afraid to leave their burrow. Sparkle uses her starlight to create a gentle, sparkling light above the meadow. Luna sings a soft, soothing lullaby that she learned from her owl family and the Baby rabbits start to feel safe and calm. They 

venture out of the burrow and play under the 

starlight, realizing that the night is not to be 

feared, but enjoyed.
