This wonderful book of Autumn poems was created by the participants of the 'Autumn Outdoor Activities' project from Romania, Greece, Latvia/Ireland, Portugal, Turkey, Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Italy because in Autumn you can not only play with beautiful leaves, gather chestnuts and acorns, search for the most beautiful Autumn flowers, and run in afternoon cross-country races, but also write poems!

Ingrida Tarauda, Diaspora Latvian language and culture elementary school, Latvia, Ireland
"I see mushrooms, acorns, leaves, chestnuts, pine cones, and hedgehogs,
I hear birds, rain, deer, wind, and sheep,
I touch frost, grass, trees, and pumpkins,
I smell leaves, trees, flowers, air, and apples,
I taste berries and pears.
This is my autumn."

„Toamna”
Toamna a intrat in casă
Punând struguri dulci pe masă
Și-n cămară, prin borcane,
Pătlăgele dolofane.
Tot ea ne-a adus alune,
Nuci și mere foarte bune.
Mari gutui pentru dulceață
Și-un butoi de varză creață.
Seciu Larisa Maria, Grădinița cu P.P „Dumbrava Minunată”, Nr18, Brașov, România
„Autumn”
Putting sweet grapes on the table
And in the pantry, through the jars, Chubby plantains.
She also brought us hazelnuts,
Nuts and apples very good.
Large quinces for sweetness And a barrel of sauerkraut.

ZÂMBET DE TOAMNĂ AUTUMN SMILE
Simfonie de culori Symphony of colors
Toamna ne zâmbește-n zori, Autumn smiles at the dawn,
Și-a deschis a ei aripă And has opened her wings
Peste ziua însorită. Over the sunny day.
Mere, pere și ciuperci Apples, pears and mushrooms
Stau grămadă în livezi. Are piled in orchards
Brândușele și crizantemele And the brambles and chrysanthemums

TOAMNĂ DRAGĂ
Toamna dragă,ce ne-aduci?
Strugure,pere,prune,nuci!
Și un cos cu bogăție
Pentru iarna ce-o să vie.
Aștern pământului covor,
Scuturând frunza de zor.
Coc toate livezile,
Să umplu cămările!
Babin Cristina-Ionela, Grădinița cu Program Prelungit "Rița-Gărgărița" Agigea, Constanța, Romania
Dear autumn,
what do you bring us?Grapes, pears, plums, walnuts!
And a basket full of wealth
For the coming winter.
Lining the carpet earth,
Shaking the dew leaf.
Cook all the orchards,
To fill the pantries!

Jesień
Jesienią spadają liście,
Wiaterek wieje
i szumią drzewa
W lesie rosną grzyby
i jarzębina
Spotkamy tam
też wiewiórkę
Czasem pada deszcz,
czasem słońce świeci
Beata Kalinka, Primary School No. 60 in Gdańsk, Poland
Leaves fall in autumn,
The leaves have colors
The wind is blowing and the trees are rustling
Mushrooms and mountain ash grow in the forest
We will also meet a squirrel there
Sometimes it rains, sometimes the sun shines

Jesień
Autumn
Autobusem jadąc do szkoły, On my way to school by bus,
Ujrzałem piękne liście, I saw beautiful leaves
Tornister pełen kasztanów, a school bag full of chestnuts
Układam zamaszyście, I was arranging them
Magiczne kolorowe ludziki, magical colorful people,
Niosą jesienne koszyki. carrying autumn baskets

Leaves are falling
Red, yellow, orange
brown
leaves are falling
all around.
We are really having fun
Looking them
we want to run
Le foglie cadono
Rosse, gialle, arancioni
marroni
le foglie cadono
dappertutto.
Noi ci divertiamo tanto
guardandole
vogliamo correre

The Letters of Autumn
P is for pumpkin.
C is for cob.
W is for waterproof.
H is for hedgehog.
And G? And G?
G is for grapes. (2x)

ΜΑΡΙΑ ΓΟΥΣΗ, 32nd Kindergarten of Larissa, Greece

ΦΘΙΝΟΠΩΡΟ / AUTUMN
Leaves fall dry from the
tree branches
I want to get a cardigan
Maybe a blanket
Let me eat an apple
Even a grape
Summer is gone
Time for school kid
Drops of rain fall from above
Everything is magical,
with warm colors!
