Family Introduction

My family includes me, my mom Ashley, my dad Justin, and my half-sister Cadence. We also have 3 dogs named Skye, Ruby, and Oakley. My half-sister Cadence has a rabbit named Cinnabon. 

What is a Family?

A family to me means that parents and children in the same household loving and supporting eachother.

                                  Family Type

My family is in the nuclear family because my mom and dad had me and I'm theirs. I'm also in a blended family because my mom had my sister in a different relationship. We have an extended family because we have aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.

                    Family Lifecycle Stage

The family lifecycle stage we are in is the family with teenagers because my sister, the oldest child, is still living at home at 17, and I am 13. We haven't reached the launching stage yet because my sister, who is the oldest, is still living at home. 

                    A Family Function We Do Is                                   Recreation

We do this because we go on vacation and do fun activities, such as deep-sea fishing, board games, bowling, and mini-golf.

       A Family Function We Do Is Love And                             Support                                   

We show love and support because we all go and support whatever our other family member is taking action in.

       A Family Function We Do Is Provide                             Basic Needs                                   

We make sure everyone in the family has all their needs met, by providing food, clothes, shelter, and water.

       We do the family function Protection                                   

We make sure the house is locked at night, we all have life 360 so we know where everyone is, and we have guns locked up

       A Family Function We Is Procreation                                   

We have done the family function procreation because my mom and dad had children. 

       A Family Function We Do Is Religious                                Education                                   

We ensure we attend church every Wednesday and as much as possible on Sundays.
