Once upon a time, there was a boy called Jack. He was very clever and pretty. He used to sleep and get up on time.

Jack was also very curious about the world. He wanted to learn everything. So, one morning he decided to talk to his parents about his latest question.
After they had breakfast in the morning,Jack told that he watched the news on Tv yesterday about national celebrations in some other countries and asked if they had the same celebrations or not.

His parents looked at each other, and they surprised by Jack's curiosity. His father smiled and said "Jack, national celebrations are very important in every country but they can be very different from one another."Jack's eyes looked curiously and "Really? How are they different?"

'We have lots of different celebrations according to our cultural, religious and historical significance.' said his father.
In the news, Jack heard about April 23, National Sovereignty and Children's Day in Türkiye. Atatürk, the founder of Turkish Republic, dedicated a festival to all children around the world. Jack thought that it was such a wonderful day.
And the other interesting festival was...

Hallowen... Jack also saw the things like pumpkins witches on the news. He started to ask questions why people are wearing those diffirent clothes. why they use pumpkins in this celebration

Pumpkins are used to scare away witches" - that's how Jack understood.
But, researching something different, he learned from his mother about the Day of Forgiveness, which is celebrated in North Macedonia. On that day, every younger person asks to be forgiven by the older person. The day is always Sunday and precedes the holiday of Easter.
