Once upon a time, there was a boy named Andy, who lived with his brother Alí in a small house in a remote village. One day, Alí, worried because they didn’t have enough money to live, said to him:

“Andy, we need to sell our motorcycle; we have no other options. Go to town and get some money for it.”

Andy answered him 

“Got it, brother! I’m going to get the best deal for the motorcycle!”

Andy started the motorcycle and rode towards town. On his way, he encountered a strange hippie who seemed a bit odd but friendly. And he started to talk with him.

“Hello, young man. I see you have a nice motorcycle. What would you do if I offered you something much more valuable in exchange?” Said the Hippie.

“Something more valuable than my motorbike? What do you have?” said Andy, surprised.

The hippie pulled out a handful of shiny beans from his pocket and waved them in front of Andy's eyes and said:

“These are magic beans. If you plant them, they will grow up to the sky, and you can get everything you desire. I offer you these beans in exchange for your motorcycle.”

“Magic beans? That sounds too crazy! But... What if it really works?” said Andy, thoughtful.

“I assure you it will. Think of all you could have: wealth, power, and... happiness.” replied the Hippie.

“It’s a deal!” Said Andy, excited.

With a mischievous smile, Andy handed the keys and papers of the motorcycle to the hippie in exchange for the beans. He ran home, his mind filled with possibilities.

When he arrived, his brother was not happy at all.

“Andy! What have you done!? You traded the motorcycle for a handful of beans!” said Alí, shouting.

“Wait, brother. They’re magic.They’ll grow up to the sky and make us rich” said Andy, trying to calm him.

“That’s crazy, Andy! This makes no sense!” said Alí, desperate.

Angry, Alí threw the beans out the window and, without thinking any more, went to bed. Andy lay in his bed, worried.

The next morning, when Andy woke up, he looked out the window and saw something incredible. A gigantic bean plant was reaching up to the sky.

“Wow! It’s real! It’s huge!” Andy yelled out, with eyes wide.

“What the hell?! Was that there when I went to sleep!?” Alí exclaimed, waking up and seeing the plant.

Without thinking twice, Andy decided to climb it. As he got closer, it looked more like a structure of shiny green cables, and from the center of the trunk, an elevator appeared that took him to the top. There he found a gigantic castle, much larger than anything he had ever seen before.

In the castle, a giant with a booming voice was walking through the halls.

“Oh, I’m so hungry! Let’s see what I have to eat today!” The giant shouted.

Andy hid behind a giant sofa, trembling. Suddenly, he saw something amazing. A golden platypus was walking through the room, and a sack full of gold coins was nearby. Andy, without thinking, decided to steal the platypus and the coins. He took them, shoved them into his backpack, and quickly began to climb down the plant.

When he reached the ground, he found his brother, who was already beside himself.

“Andy, where have you been?! What have you done now!?” Alí shouted to Andy.

 “Alí, look at this! The platypus lays golden eggs! And these coins are real!” Said Andy, smiling.
