Advent calendar : challenges rules 

1. hoop throwing

2. cones in the centre

3. basketball dribbling game

1. hoop throwing

- Make groups of 6 pupils

- 1 line per group

- Distance between the player and the cone : 3 meters (depending on pupils' age)

- Pupils throw the hoop into the cone

- 1 hoop in the cone = 1 point

2. Cones in the centre

- Draw big circles

- 3 pupils per circle = 1 team

- 1 colour of cones per pupil

- Aim of the game : put all the cones at the centre of the circle as fast as possible with only one hand

3. basketball dribbling game

- Dribble the ball while the hoop is moving

- First to the end line wins

4. playground cleaning challenge

- Make two teams

- Pick up all the litter in the playground in 3 minutes

- Compare the amount of waste collected

5. hoops relay

                               - Jump into the hoops

                               - Put the ball in the hoop

                               - Jump on your way back 

                               - Next partner takes over

                               - First team to the end line wins

6. chase with a ball

- One student has the ball and is chasing all the others

-Every time the ball touches a student he/she has to leave the game

- Game finishes when all the students are out

7. side jumps

- Make two groups

- Each member of the group jumps into the hoops

- On the left then on the right

- First team to end the jumps wins

8. remove the cones

-Make 2 groups

-Put 4 cones at the end of every group's side

-Students have to remove one cone at a time without being caught from the other group. If caught, he/she has to leave the game

-The group that removes first all the cones is the winner

9. walk on all four

- Walk like a bear into the hoops

- Alternate right and left arms and legs

10. caterpillar

- Make teams of 4 to 6 pupils

- Each pupil crawls under the tunnel 

- Once the pupils reaches the end of the tunnel, he/she becomes apart of the tunnel

- First team to end the line wins

11. hoops race

- Make lines of 6 pupils

- Each pupil stands in the hoop

- One by one, each pupil runs from the end to the beginning of the line

- First team to end the line wins
