Chapter 1: 50. Yıl Chrysler Primary School Team
One day, the sky turned grey.
The wind was strong. It was hard to breathe.
Maya looked up. “What is that?” she said..
Three big monsters came from the sky.
“I am the Water Monster!” said a monster made of dirty water.
“I am the Waste Monster!” said a monster made of garbage.
“I am the Energy Monster!” said a monster with lights and wires.
The monsters were loud. “We will hurt the Earth!” they shouted.
“Oh no!” said Leo. “Look! The river is dirty!”
“There is trash everywhere,” said Aria.
“The lights won’t stop blinking!” said Sam.
“We must help the world,” said Maya.
“Yes,” said her friends. “Let’s stop the monsters!”
But how?
Then, the children saw something shining behind the trees...

Çocuklar parlayan ışığa doğru koştular.
Orman karanlıktı. Rüzgar gürültülüydü.
Ağaçlar korkutucu sesler çıkarıyordu.
"Korkuyorum" dedi Aria.
"Elimi tut," dedi Sam.
Maya, “Güçlü olmalıyız” dedi.
Ağaçların arkasında garip bir şey gördüler...
Parlayan bir kapıydı!
On the door, it said: “Enter if you care for Earth.”
“Should we open it?” asked Leo.
“What if the monsters are hiding inside?” asked Aria.
Suddenly, they heard a loud growl.
Grrrrrrrrrrr! The trees moved.
Something big was coming!
“Quick! Let’s go in!” shouted Maya. The door opened with a creeeak sound. A golden light came out.
An Angel with green eyes stood in the middle.
She wore a crown made of leaves. “I am Gaia,” she said kindly.
“I am the Spirit of the Earth. I need your help.”
“Can we stop the monsters?” asked Sam.
“Yes,” said Gaia.
“But you must become Guardians of Nature.”
The children nodded. “We are ready!”
Suddenly, the wall broke. A huge hand came in. “It’s the Waste Monster!” shouted Leo. “He found us!” cried Aria.
“Take your first magic tool!” shouted Gaia.
The children ran to the glowing table.
Each one grabbed something...
What did they choose?
Sam chose a magic shield to protect themselves from the Waste Monster.
Maya chose green boots. These boots were used to step on the streets garbage to make it disappear.
Aria chose a magic pencil to recycle carton and paper.
Leo chose green gloves to become plastic waste into swings so childreen could play in the parks.
A minute later, the children ran towards the forest with their magic tools.
The Garbage Monster bought them by spitting garbage from his mouth.
"Ahhhhhh" Aria shouted.

"But we can't leave our friend like this, Gaia can help us." Sam said.

Aria was very scared. But they had no time to waste.

"We must be strong and help the world." said Maya.
"Can't we do anything to get back our powers Gaia?" asked Sam.
"We have one more chance to get back our powers: To believe" answered Gaia and added: " Hold your hands, believe yourself and shout at the top of your voice: WE ARE THE GUARDIANS OF NATURE!!! "
All of them hold their hands and did what Gaia said. Now they have their powers again.
Because of the trash on the ground Aria sprained her ankle and asked for help: "Can you borrow me your green boots Maya?
