What is treasure? It is something that is precious and valuable for us. In our eTwinning project 'TownTreasures', our treasures are our: cities, history, culture, nature, cousin and legends. Partners from 12 countries worked together to improve their students knowledge and awareness about their countries' treasures.

Cerignola is a town in the Apulia region of Italy. It is in the province of Foggia and the second biggest town in the area called Capitanata. Ceriniola (or Keriniola) was a Norman center of considerable importance built on the ashes of a settlement dating back to 300 BC. The town coat of arms represents a stork with a snake in its beak, to remind us of the liberation of the town from the invasion of snakes by the storks.
In the heart of Pieria, Paleo Keramidi and Exochi are ideally located, next to Katerini, the archaeological site of Dion and the mythical Mount Olympus. This proximity offers residents and visitors a unique combination of easy access to urban amenities, historical treasures and majestic nature.

Cities are living stories—woven from stone and steel, memory and motion. Each one pulses with a rhythm all its own.
Izmir is the Aegean’s open window, where modern cafes and classical ruins share the same horizon. It's a city of breezes, both sea-born and philosophical.
Once shaped by coal and steel, Chorzów hums with the echoes of industry and resilience. Today, its green parks and cultural venues reflect a city rediscovering its heart.
Nestled in the Jiu Valley, Petroșani tells the story of miners and mountains. Its quiet charm and surrounding Carpathians reveal a place rooted in labor and nature. With cobbled streets and baroque spires,
Where the Baltic meets cobbled streets and half-timbered charm, Klaipėda is a port city with a soul shaped by sea and shifting borders. It’s a place where ships sail past history and festivals dance with salty wind.
Guarded by the medieval Manasija Monastery, Despotovac stands as a quiet sentinel of Serbian heritage. Surrounded by caves and forests, it offers history wrapped in natural wonder.

Prešov is a hidden jewel rich in history and soul. It blends small-town warmth with a layered cultural past.
Ancient walls and Adriatic waves meet in Split, where Diocletian's Palace still breathes within a vibrant coastal city. It is a place where history isn't preserved—it lives.
Tucked into northern Evia, Istiaia is a place where olive groves meet timeless sea breezes. Life moves gently here, steeped in myth, memory, and Mediterranean light.
Across the Tagus from Lisbon, Almada watches the capital glow from its own sun-drenched cliffs. With sweeping views and working-class roots, it balances tradition with an ever-curious gaze toward the ocean.
A leafy enclave near Seville, Tomares blends suburban calm with Andalusian spirit. Its plazas and gentle hills carry whispers of Roman pasts and modern rhythms.
