To those who are always by my side: thanks to my family and friends, who with their affection make every project more beautiful

What is eTwinning?

eTwinning is a free European platform that connects schools across Europe. It allows students and teachers to work together on common projects, using the internet to communicate, share ideas and learn the languages and cultures of other countries. With e Twinning you improve you digital, linguistic and relational skills. It’s a way to “learn by doing”, having fun and meeting new friends!

Why participate?

Participating in an eTwinning project means collaborating with students from other countries, exchanging letters, ideas and activities. It is an opportunity to learn about different cultures, use the English language in a pratical way and become more aware European citizens. During the project, modern digital tools such as Canva, Padlet, Story Jumper are used and you work as a team!

My creativity for the project
In the eTwinning project, creating a logo means collaborating, using imagination and representing the union between schools from different countries. I created a logo which is this one here:

The logos of our European partners

Each student was able to propose a logo, then the participants voted on the one that best represented the meaning of the project. The logo thus becomes the official symbol of the work done together, a sign of friendship, creativity and European collaboration. Our European partners, in my case Turkey and Poland, have also created logos like these:

Cover Letter: Let’s Get to Know Each Other!

We write letters to get to know each other! During the eTwinning project we wrote letters in English to tell who we are exchange experiences with students from Poland, Turkey and Italy. The letters helped us improve our English, learn about new cultures and make friends from a distance! Here is the letter I wrote:

Replies from our European friends

After sending our letters, we received beautiful replies from the boys and girls from Turkey and Poland. Reading them was exciting: they told us about themselves, their passions and habits… and a true international friendship was born!
