This book was written as part of a pair work for English II, I hope you like the result.

Tom and Leo had been best friends since they were kids.
They were very different, but that never seemed to matter before.
They liked different music, food, and clothes, but they always got along.
One Saturday afternoon, they decided to go to the mall.
It was a bright, sunny day, and the mall was full of people.
They were both excited to spend time together.

When they arrived, the first place they went to was a clothing store.
Tom loved clothes. He always tried to look fashionable and smart.
He followed trends on Instagram and read fashion blogs.
Leo, on the other hand, preferred to dress casual and comfortable.
He didn’t care about style—he just wanted to feel good in what he wore.
Still, he agreed to go shopping with Tom.

“I want to buy something stylish,” said Tom as they entered the store.
He walked straight to a display of designer shirts with confidence.
Leo laughed and shook his head.
“You always dress up, even just for the mall,” he said.
“I like something more casual. Simple and relaxed.”
Tom smiled. “You have no imagination when it comes to clothes!”

Tom picked up a tight, black shirt from Tommy Hilfiger and looked in the mirror.
“This is the most fashionable shirt I’ve seen today,” he said, admiring himself.
Leo found a loose, grey hoodie from GAP and tried it on.
“It looks too smart for me,” he said, laughing.
“I prefer something from GAP or Aeropostale. They make me feel more like myself.”
Tom raised an eyebrow. “You always go for hoodies!”
Tom pointed to a pair of Converse sneakers on a nearby shelf.
“These are cool. Maybe you’d like them?”
Leo looked at them and nodded slowly.
“Not really,” he said. “They’re nice, but I think Gucci makes better shoes.”
“Gucci?” Tom laughed. “That’s the most expensive brand here!”
Leo shrugged. “Maybe, but it’s also the most stylish. Just look at those details!”

They kept talking, comparing GAP, Converse, Tommy Hilfiger, and Gucci.
They laughed a little, but something felt different this time.
Even though they were having fun, they started to notice their differences more clearly.
They didn’t argue, but the conversation became more serious.
After shopping for a while, they decided to go to the food court.
Both of them were feeling a bit hungry and tired.
“I’m starving,” said Leo. “Let’s eat at Taco Bell!”
“No way!” said Tom. “I don’t like Taco Bell. I’ll get KFC. It’s the best!”
Leo rolled his eyes. “But Mexican food is more flavorful.”
“It’s spicier and more exciting than American food,” he added.
Tom crossed his arms. “Fried chicken is classic. You can’t beat it!”
They started to feel annoyed, even over something as simple as food.

They sat at different tables but kept talking while they ate.
Tom bit into his chicken. Leo was enjoying his tacos.
It was strange to not eat together, like they usually did.
Both of them felt a little sad, but no one wanted to say it first.
The silence between bites felt heavier than usual.
They looked around the food court without much interest.
Later, they decided to go to the cinema.
“I want to watch the new sci-fi movie,” said Tom, pointing at a big poster.
“I don’t like science fiction. Let’s see the war film,” said Leo.
“Again? We never agree on movies!” Tom said, frustrated.
Leo frowned. “We used to agree on everything. What happened?”
They stood quietly, unsure what to do next.

“Maybe we shouldn’t hang out anymore,” said Leo.
“We don’t like the same things,” he added with a sad voice.
Tom looked at him and nodded slowly.
“Maybe you’re right,” he said quietly. “Maybe we’ve changed too much.”
They turned away from the posters and walked toward the exit.
Neither of them knew what to say next.

They walked out of the cinema, but just as they reached the exit, everything turned white.
The mall disappeared, and there was only silence and light.
A bright glow filled the air, and a tall figure appeared in front of them.
He was dressed in glowing robes, and his eyes shone like stars.
“I am the God of Decisions,” he said with a deep, powerful voice.
Tom and Leo looked at each other, shocked and speechless.
