Once, in a bright and busy town called Brooks, everything looked perfect, but it looked way too perfect that it felt unreal. People laughed, played, and worked, but there was one very strict rule: no one was allowed to own or touch a book.
Exposition

In this town, Firemen didn’t put out fires—they made them! If anyone had a book, the Firemen would come and burn it. One of these Firemen was named Guy Montag. He burned books almost every day and thought it was the right thing to do. He believed books were bad and the town was better without them.
Exposition
One evening, while walking home from work, Montag met a strange girl who wore white clothes and liked to stand in the shadows under streetlights. Her name was Clarisse. People called her Clarisse the Ghost because she was quiet, gentle, and sometimes surprised people by just appearing out of nowhere. She wasn’t scary, just different.
Conflict Introduced

That night, she walked beside Montag and asked softly, “What would our world be like if we had books?” Montag wanted to say, “Books are bad!” but something inside him felt unsure. He thought of all the sad things he’d seen recently and experinced and didn't know how to reply to the question. Clarisse looked at him kindly, then slowly walked away. Montag stood there thinking until the sky turned light.
Conflict Introduced
When Montag got home, he couldn’t sleep. He kept thinking and thinking. This happened for many days. Then one day, his kind old friend Faber, who is a secret librarian that lives nearby, visited him. Faber knew Montag was feeling confused and gave him a gift, a book wrapped in soft cloth. Faber whispered, “This might help you. Be careful with it. Take care.”

I should try meditating one day

Montag opened the book slowly. The first Religion that pops up is Buddhism.
A long time ago in India, a kind man named Buddha wanted to help people not wanting to feel sadness anymore (Lopez-Prat). He said that if people are calm, kind, and have good thoughts, they can feel peaceful (Lopez-Prat). Buddhists believe that if one live kindly, one day you can reach a happy place with no pain or sadness called Nirvana (Lopez-Prat).
