At the School of Values, the teacher said after the first day of classes:

-Today is Love Day!Let's write a kind letter to a friend.

The children were excited.

They used colorful paper, drew hearts and flowers and wrote nice words.

Lale made eight cards!

After recess, they gave the cards to each other.

Everyone smiled and said,''Thank you."

But one boy was quiet. It was Ali.

Ela went to Ali and asked:

-Did you get a card?

Ali shook his head.

-No. No one gave me a card.

Ela ran to Selin and Kerem.

-Let's make a card for Ali! A very special one!

They made a big,beatiful card.

They drew a big heart and wrote kind words.

When they gave it to Ali,he smiled.

-Thank you! This is my first card. I'm so happy.

After the Love Day activities, it was lunchtime.
The children ran toward the cafeteria.
They wanted to get a sandwich, fruit juice, and a yogurt drink.
Tarık, Merve, and Ceren got in line.
But Ahmet was in a hurry.
He ran to the front and said:
– I’ll just get one chocolate! I’ll be quick!
The other children weren’t happy.
– We’re all waiting in line…
– What we’re getting is quick too…

Ceren walked to Ahmet and whispered:
 – Waiting your turn shows respect.

Kerem thought and said:
 – But it’s just a small thing…

Then Tarık smiled and said:
 – Ahmet, we’ll wait for you. There will still be chocolate at the end.

Ahmet stopped. He went to the back of the line.
 – You are right. I was not being respectful. I’m sorry.

The man at the cafeteria saw it all.
 He smiled and said to Ahmet:
 – When a child waits their turn, it means they are growing up.

In the afternoon during physical education class, the teacher said:
 – Today we will play soccer! Make your teams.

Metin said:
 – I want to be a captain!
 The teacher said okay. Tolga became the other captain.

Metin picked all the best players: Süleyman, Ogün, Fatih...
 Tolga’s team had slower runners.

Ceren and Canan looked at each other. Gülseren whispered:

 – This is not fair…

The game started. Soon it was 5–0.
 Metin’s team was winning.
 Tolga’s team couldn’t even touch the ball.

The teacher stopped the game.
 – Is everyone having fun?
 No one said anything.

Then Tolga said sadly:
 – It wasn’t fair to my team.

Next time, the teacher mixed the teams again.
 This time, Metin chose more fairly.
 Tolga’s team scored a goal.
 Now, everyone had fun!

      At the School of Values, the students had learned about love, kindness, respect, patience, justice, and responsibility. The next day, the teacher said to the class:

-This week is Garden Week ! Each class will help clean the schoolyard.

Aslı  wanted to help.

Meltem brought gloves.

Tarık brought tash bags.

Okan brought brooms.

Everyone started working.

But some students just sat and watched.

Tarık said:

-We are working and they are doing nothing That's not fair!

Okan whispered:

-Maybe they don't like cleanning. But they can help in other ways.

Meltem had an idea:

-Let's ask them to water the flowers!

The students who were sitting got up and watered the flowers.

They were happy to help

Soon, the garden was clean and beautiful.

The principal came and said:

_The garden looks amazing! I'm proud of all of you!

After learning about the values of cleanliness and helpfulness, the 

next morning the teacher came to the class with small flower pots.

 And she said:

 – Today we are planting a seed. We will patiently wait for it to grow.

Yiğit raised his hand.

 – When will it grow?” he asked.

 The teacher smiled:

 – We must wait. If we are patient, we will be happy in the end.

Every day, Merve watered her seed and talked to it like a friend,

Ece gave her plant a name: Happiness.

Efe wrote kind words and placed them next to his plant.

But Yiğit was impatient.

 – Why hasn’t it grown yet? Is the seed broken? he kept asking.

One morning, the children came to class and saw tiny green leaves in 

their pots.

Everyone was very happy!

But Yiğit’s pot was still empty.

Kerem said:
 

– Maybe you gave it too much water.
 

Ece smiled:
 

– Don’t be sad. We can plant a new one. This time, let’s be patient.

Yiğit agreed.

This time, he was careful and calm. He waited.

Weeks later...

Yiğit’s flower was the biggest of all!
