Let's flee to the city!

Felix, his wife, and baby Finn decided to migrate across the country to an urban area, in hopes of finding more food and a better area to raise their family.

I'm so thirsty!

We finally found water!

After traveling for days, the birds were extremely thirsty! They were grateful to have found a puddle and immediately started drinking.

I don't feel good...

For the next three days, everyone in the household fell sick! Felix had a raging tummy ache. Baby Finn had a high fever, and his parents were getting extremely worried! “We need to go to the doctor”, said Felix.

Help me! Please!

Doctor asked, “Have any of you drank from the puddles around the city?”

Felix: “Oh yes we have doctor, just the other day”

Doctor: “Unfortunately you all have been infected with heavy metals, PFAS, and micro plastics”

What do these big words mean?

Doctor tells Felix:

- Heavy metals from industrial processes make animals sick, they could grow the wrong way and have trouble making babies.

- PFAS are tiny chemicals that can make animals’ bodies not work right. They can mess up their hormones, and hurt their livers.

- Microplastics are tiny pieces of plastic. They can get stuck in sea animals' tummies so they can't eat, and they also let out bad chemicals that make animals sick.
