Once upon a time, there was an 8-year-old boy named Jaydn and his best friend in the whole wide world, a 2-year-old fluffy golden dog named Sasha.

Jaydn and Sasha were on vacation with his parents. They were staying at a big, fancy hotel near the beach. The hotel had a giant swimming pool, soft beds, and a machine that made chocolate milk come out like water! 

One sunny morning, Jaydn and Sasha begged to go to the beach. “Please, please, please!” Jaydn asked. “Just for a little while!”

“Okay,” said Mom and Dad. “But stay close and be careful.”

Jaydn and Sasha ran toward the waves, laughing and splashing. Sasha barked happily and chased seashells. Jaydn floated on his back and looked at the clouds. It was the perfect day... until,

SPLASH!!!

Out of nowhere, a huge shark burst out of the water! He had sharp teeth, angry eyes, and a big scar across his fin. His name was Rob. Rob the Shark was not a nice shark. In fact, he was always grumpy, always hungry, and always causing trouble.

Before Jaydn or Sasha could even scream, CHOMP! Rob gobbled them up whole!

Inside the shark’s belly, it was dark and squishy and smelled like rotten tuna. “Ewwww,” said Jaydn, covering his nose.
“Bark bark!” said Sasha, shaking off seaweed.

But far, far away in the mountains, a powerful wizard heard Sasha’s bark. His name was Alex the Amazing. He had a long blue cloak, sparkly boots, and a wand made of starlight. Alex had learned every spell in the wizard book by the time he was twelve. Now, he was twenty-two and still super cool.

He looked into his magic crystal ball and saw Jaydn and Sasha trapped inside the shark.

“Oh no! I must save them!” he said.

He zoomed through the sky on his magic skateboard and landed right next to the ocean with a thunderous POOF!
