To my mom and dad and all my friends
Love you!
-Naisha

Malika was just getting her little sister, Lya, to bed, she wanted to read her a bedtime story but Lya couldn't stop moving!
"Lya, stop moving for goodness' sake!" Malika said sharply as she tugged on Lya's leg. Lya jumped gleefully in her cushy bed. Malika groaned "look, mom and dad want me to read you a story, but if you are not going to listen then i might just go to bed" She said, shoving the book in Lya's shelf.
Lya grabbed her pink headphones from under her pillow and put them on.
Malika sighed and left her sister's room, before she turned off her light, she heard Lya saying: "Malika is boring" over and over, this made Malika feel so sad that she slammed her door hard so she could hear even with the headphones on.
Malika walked to the living room and sat on the couch and angrily turned on the TV. She heard noises outside, so she turned the volume higher, the noises got louder, Malika turned the volume higher and higher, something crushed in the window with a bang sound, the noises got way louder, suddenly, Malika felt the floor was shaking, she walked outside, and saw a huge portal made out of crystal and rocks, amazed, Malika walked closer to the portal. And summoned courage to fit her finger inside, she quickly touched the portal with her finger and then got her whole hand in, she felt little bubbles tickling her from the other end, suddenly she felt far away from her house. She was already with her two arms inside the portal when she heard a shout, it was Lya.
Lya was running at Malika, but Malika didn't turn back, she fit half her body into the portal and then her head, she saw yellow bubbles and pastel steps everywhere, She wanted to go all the way inside when something stopped her, she felt a tug on her leg, she kicked and managed to set her leg free, she entered the portal all the way and looked around, thousands of little bubbles floated her way, she jumped along the steps when she heard a loud shout, she looked back and no one was there, so she kept walking. She floated through and got to a bright light that shone in her face, she blinked her eyes at the sudden brightness, and in that blinking, she got hit with a wooden plank in her knee and fell right in the light.
For a few seconds after her fall, Malika felt faint.
she knew she should open her eyes, but she had no strenghts.
She didn't know where she was, but she kept her eyes closed.
A little while later, she felt a pain in her knee, at first it was nothing she couldn't handle, but then in got stronger.
Malika finally snapped awake and yelled in pain.
She hugged her hurt knee and closed her eyes, she felt the grass under her, she could hear birds chirping.
she heard footsteps running at her, she strained her ears, very... tiny footsteps came running at her. She was just in so much pain that she didn't notice until she felt a tap in her shoulder.
"What?!" Malika yelled she sat up and squinted her dizzy eyes at the tiny figure that was by her side "Lya?" Said Malika quietly.
"You are lucky to be alive!" Said Lya with a huge grin.
Malika rubbed her eyes. "Lya? Is that really you?" She said "are we in Mom's yard?" She added faintly.
Lya widened her eyes
"What? No! You hit your head too hard!" She joked
"i actually hit my knee and i need to go to a doctor" she said in a serious tone.
Lya laughed hysterically, Malika didn't understand why, it made her so angry that she'd want to walk away and leave Lya there, but of course, not even Malika knew where they were, and of course Lya wouldn't know. If she left her sister there, it would be over for Malika in her house.
She sat upright and hugged her knee,

Lya stopped laughing and sat on the grass next to her sister.
She looked around
"Where are we?" She asked
"do you think i know?" Answered Malika
Lya shrugged,
Malika shrugged too.
they sat quietly for a few minutes until Malika's
Knee started hurting again, she sighed and
rubbed her knee softly and looked at the sky,
Something was flying twoard the puffy clouds,
Malika had to squint her eyes hard to be able to
See the figure that flew in the sky, it wasn't a
bird. The figure did a loop and then headed their

Way, and it flew really fast.. on something that looked like a carriage with vines and flowers creeping onto the sides, pushed by an... alicorn? Of course, Malika wouldn't believe her own eyes
"Lya, did you see a carriage with plants pushed by an alicorn?" Malika asked Lya.
Lya raised her eyebrow.
Malika pointed to where she saw the carriage but it was gone.
Lya shrugged.
Malika had to be dreaming things now, she was still dizzy because of the rough fall she had, nothing she just saw could be true.
The figure came closer to them, and the closer she got, the more Malika could tell she was a woman, with red hair.
the figure got closer and the carriage's wheels touched the floor, the figure got out of the carriage, the alicorn reared and the carriage jumped and almost falls on top of Malika and Lya.
"Whoa, Juniper! What are you trying to do? Squish these intruders?" Said the woman, she was not that old, her veil covered little elf ears welled with shiny accesories and earrings.
"im Ivy, sorry about the jumpscare" she apologized
"You called us intruders" said Malika,
scared and nearly speecless
"yes, because you are in our land!" declared Ivy
"But... but." Said Malika, now completely speechless.
"no buts, get yourself into the carriage so i can heal your leg" snapped Ivy.
Malika opened her mouth to talk but no words came out.
Ivy and Lya tryed to get Malika into the carriage without hurting her, but it was useless, they tryed millions of ways to get her in, they dragged her by the arms, Ivy tryed to pick her up, Malika tryed hard to stand up, and she even managed to fall on her knee in the grass, the scream that caused startled everyone.
"Maybe we can use ropes so she stops moving!" Joked Lya
"yes ropes!" cried Ivy, laughing her head off "hey, Malika! This kid know exactly what we are talking about!" She added, wiping off tears of laughter

Malika groaned, Ivy nodded and said hopelessly
"Well, the ropes is a good idea, but i prefer to just hold
her hand and help her, what do you think?" She said,
Glancing at Lya, Lya jumped and smiled.
Ivy put her plan into action, she put Malika's hand
Over her shoulder and dragged her, Malika limped
and managed to get safely into the carriage.
"Well, you better hold on! It will be a
bumpy ride" warned Ivy before taking off.
