P Monster and the Party

It was a sunny Saturday morning in Malibu, and Barbie Roberts was just putting the finishing touches on a paper garland for a surprise picnic party. She had invited her sisters—Skipper, Stacie, and Chelsea—along with her parents, George and Margaret, and of course, Ken Carson. But there was one very special guest nobody had met yet: P Monster.
Barbie had met P Monster the week before while painting at the park. He had popped up—literally—from behind a patch of purple petunias. “Pleasant day, isn’t it?” he had said, tipping his blue-striped hat. He explained that he loved doing things that started with the letter “P”—painting, playing, planting, puzzling, and partying most of all. Barbie had known instantly that he’d be perfect for today’s celebration.
The Preparations
By late morning, the Roberts’ backyard was a whirl of activity. Skipper set up speakers for music playlists, Stacie prepared a portable ping-pong table, and Chelsea decorated a puppet theater with puffy pompoms. P Monster arrived right on time, carrying pineapple punch in one hand and a platter of pumpkin pie in the other.
“Pleased to be present!” P Monster announced, spinning in a silly pirouette before placing his treats on the picnic table. His bow tie gleamed, and his party hats bobbed up and down as he moved. Even Margaret, who was busy arranging plates, couldn’t help but laugh.
The Party Begins
Ken kicked things off with a playful parachute game on the lawn. P Monster dove right in, giggling as he popped up and down under the colorful fabric. Then came a painting station, where Barbie and P Monster painted peaceful palm tree scenes. Chelsea insisted on a puppet show, where P Monster voiced a heroic penguin who rescued a princess from a popcorn avalanche.

"P Monster and the Party"
He arrived with pineapple punch and pumpkin pie, then joined in parachute games, painting palm trees, a puppet show, and ping-pong with his silly “P-spin.”
At the end, Barbie gave him a purple-wrapped present — a party planner’s kit.
“Positively perfect!” P Monster beamed, as everyone enjoyed pie, punch, and music together.
