This audiobook has been created as part of our Erasmus+ KA210SCH project, “Dyslexia-Friendly Schools.”
It is dedicated to all children who sometimes find reading difficult, reminding them that every learner has unique strengths.
Just like Adam in The Alphabet War discovers his own way of learning, we hope this story inspires you to keep trying, believe in yourself, and never give up.
Every child is smart in their own way — and every child can succeed.

When second grade begins, Adam is asked to read and spell more. Reading feels like a battle—letters swirl around, words mix up, and his desk turns into a battlefield. He feels like he’s stuck in a war against letters Scribd.

In third grade, Adam’s family reaches out for support. A reading specialist named Mrs. Wood works with him and realizes that Adam learns differently, especially when it comes to reading and spelling
