Building new friendships is hard especially when you are little. Making new friends in a new place is harder when you have never been there before. Going to a school is hard especially when you are new to the school and don’t know anyone there like Lola. Lola is a bunny and she is having a hard time trying to make friends in the new school. Lola has never moved before and she is scared to start a new school. When Lola got to her new school she was really nervous and didn’t want to leave her mom. Soon as Lola walked into her new school everyone just looked at her. Lola tried her best to keep smiling and be happy but with everyone staring at her it made her want to cry.

A cat named Luna went over to Lola and introduced herself to her. Luna said, "Hi, my name is Luna, what is your name?" Lola said, "It is nice to meet you, my name is Lola." Luna noticed that Lola was new and everyone knew everyone but her. So after Luna went over to her and introduced herself she asked if she was new and Lola told her yes and that it was her first day of school and she didn't want to go inside without her mom. So Luna decided to show Lola around the school to make her feel more comfortable at her new school.

Lola was happy that someone was willing to show her around her new school; it made her feel more comfortable to leave her mom. When she went to her first few classes everyone just kept looking at her and not talking to her. Lola didn’t realize that everyone was looking at her because she was new.

Lola just thought everyone was looking at her because they didn’t like her. Everyone kept looking at her to see if they could figure out if they had ever met her before. All the students wondered if they had seen Lola around the school before or in any previous grades

As the day went on Lola started to feel lonely as she went to all  of her classes. Lola started to realize that she had no friends in her new school which made her really sad. As the days went by Lola still didn't have any friends at all and didn’t know how to make friends, especially on her first week of school had already passed and it was the middle of the second week of school.

Luna already had a group of friends and she really didn’t really want any more friends. She thought that she already had enough and adding one more person to the group would be too many people.

Since Luna already had a group of friends, she then decided that she didn't want to try to become friends with Lola. So Lola sat by herself under a tree. She wanted to become friends with Luna, but she was so scared that she didn't want to become friends with her since Luna already had a whole group of friends and looked like she didn’t need anymore friends.
