This book will be about Feudalism and Manorialism comparing the similarities and differences through a story about a young man named Dawson Allen who was once a Serf and eventually grew into a Knight

In the year 670 C.E., in a small village called Dawsomeville, a youthful man named Dawson was born. Dawson was born into a family of Serfs known as the Allens, slaves to the land, no stranger to manorialism, with the only difference between the two being that Serfs could not be sold or bought.

Manorialism was the economic system that organized rural life during the middle ages.

Daily life was simple but intense. Dawson's family farmed narrow strips of land, that grew wheat and barley. Serfs also had to work on anything that needed maintenance like repairing fences for example. This was the world young Dawson grew up in, until his teenage years. One day Dawson saw a fleet of Knights ride by, strong and confident, not bound to the soil unlike him, but bound to their lord and honor. Their government followed Feudalism. Feudalism created a rigid social structure with Kings at the top then Nobles and Lords, followed by Knights, and then Serfs at the bottom.

Fate intervened when Dawson was about 15. When gathering lumber in the woods, he found a damaged Knight named Sir Kbay of Ceasers Palace. While near death Sir Kbay was still battling for his life thanks to young Dawson whom was disobeying his Serf duties in attempt to save the Knight. As hours pass on, Sir Kbay begins to show signs of hope. Eventually Sir Kbay recovered well enough to return to his fleet that was still nearby, but he didn't leave without reward. He offered Dawson a chance of Freedom, the chance to become a Knight. Young Dawson did not decline
