Family is what brings people together. A family is people who support who you know matter what, who should always love you. God created families because he wanted us all to prepare each other for the world, to have people to spread the gospel to and a group of people to worship him. In my house we have multiple pictures and paintings of what a family means, and we try our best to live by it.

My family has two family types, nuclear family because my mom and dad have always been together and had two kids together. And an extended family because I have grandparents, aunties, uncles, and cousins, but they don't live with me. Only me, my mom, my dad, and my sister live with me.

Right now, my family is kind of in between two stages but really just one. It's kind of complicated because I have a twin sister so we are both the same age, so there really isn't a younger or older sibling. Coral, my sister, is about an hour older than me so I guess you could call her the "older child." We are in the family with school children stage because coral is 12. Me and Coral are about to turn 13 though and are already mature enough to act like an adult, we we're just raised like that. Family Functions

My family provides a lot of things for each other. Mainly my mom and dad and I am grateful for them. My parents provide food, shelter, and safety pretty basic needs. They provide love and affection, economic support, religious education like we Bible study at night sometimes and pretty much everyday include God in our talks. Besides religious education they also provide just general knowledge about life, and different things to prepare me for my future. My family is good at adapting to things, and we can have a lot of fun with each other when we want to. My parents protect me and my sister, and they socialize us too, to make sure we don't grow up to be anti social.  And they procreated too.

My family has lots of ways to bond with each other. One way of bonding and getting closer to each other is talking, my dad loves to talk, to me and my sister, or my mom, for hours on end. But that's okay because it helps us learn each other more and grow closer with each other. Another way we bond with each other is going places, to me and my sister lacrosse games or going on vacation. One last way we bond with each other is just playing games with each other. Sometime we like to play card games, or board games. It's definitely not every night we do this, but when we do it's always fun.

This is our puppy Lucy, isn't she so cute?! Lucy loves playing with us, and we love playing with her. Lucy loves to run, and we look  forward to creating fun memories with her in the future.

My family has lots of traditions, but my three favorites are...

1.Going to a tree farm each year to take home a tree.

2.Going to at least one lacrosse game per year

3.And going on fun trips
