One starry night there were two very young thieves named Michael and Bob (they were brothers). They had a plan! They changed into their dark shirts and pants, and put on masks and gloves. Very quietly and sneakily, they left their home and went in search for the house number 1735.

"I think we're here," said Bob. "I can't see that well with this mask on, but I think that this is the house." They both used their special key and silently cracked the door open. But the first thing they saw was a bright orange cat! It brightened the room a little bit. "Oh, no! You are allergic to cats, aren't you, Bob?" Michael whispered. "Don't worry, I will not sneeze," Bob replied. Bob tried to stay away from the cat, while Michael looked for the jewellery. But all of a sudden: HA-CHOO! "Bob, you might have woken them up!" Indeed, someone was coming down the stairs. Both of them were terrified. The lights went on and in front of them stood their neighbors with whom they were friends. "What are you guys doing?" said the neighbor, shocked. 

The two teenagers ran out of the house, took their masks off and noticed that they had broken into the house 1737, not 1735! Shocked, they walked silently home and went to bed.

The next morning they had breakfast in their PJs looking very sad. They were disappointed by what had happened that night. "Wait, I still have an idea," said Michael. "We can still try again but we should not put a mask on so that we can see better, and no one thinks we are thieves." They had their last bite of the amazing waffle and ran to their rooms to change. They did not put any masks on!
