"When are you leaving?" Emma asked me at lunch.

"Wednesday" i answered.

On wednesday, i would go on a vacation to the beach with my mom, my dad, and my two sisters! I have really been looking forward to this trip since forever!

"Oh, but our baking meeting is on wednesday!" Cried Mia.

 Chapter 1

Bye, Sophie!!

I totally forgot.

"I won't be there!" I cried "i am leaving at 5:00 am!"

"It is okay, we can move it to tomorrow! At my house, if you guys want" Elizabeth suggested.

"That can work!" Mia nodded.

So, tomorrow i have a baking meeting, my last one!

The next day, i walked over to Elizabeth's after school.

I walked through the neat neighourhood where Elizabeth lived, i passed through all the nice houses and when i arrived to a clean, white, modern and 

Fancy house, i knew instantly it was Elizabeth's.

I knocked, and sure enough, Elizabeth's mom showed up.

"Hi, Sophie! Elizabeth and the other girls are in the kitchen" said Mrs. Brown.

"Thanks!" I said, and Mrs. Brown led me inside.

When i had passed a huge crystal chandelier above a cozy, neat living room with white couches, a fur rug and a fireplace, i eventually got to a huge doorway leading to a pretty, clean white kitchen with a big glass table in witch my friends sat.

"Wow, Elizabeth, you live in a palace!" I breathed.

Elizabeth's cheeks blew red.

"Oh, i know... living here is the best, but the house is so big that sometimes i feel lonely" Elizabeth said shyly, she is an only child.

"I bet, it must be lonely" i said, i never actually went to her house before, Mia and Emma are the ones who spend their LIFES inside Elizabeth's house. 

"I was thinking we make a farewell cake for Sophie" Emma said, she looked like she might cry.

"Aww, it is not like i will be gone forever, you know. It is just for three weeks" i said.

Emma looked like she felt better.

"Anyways, you are going to a beach, right?" Mia asked me.

"Where else could i go to in summer?" I joked.

"To japan! I went to japan last year in summer!" Cried Emma, that made us all laugh our heads off.

"Pineapple" Elizabeth said "and coconut! Nothing can be more tropical!"  

True.

"Or what about mango? That is pretty tropical too!" I suggested.

"Oooh, a mango cake! Yum" Mia breathed.

"Yess!" Elizabeth agreed.

We got right to baking, we made a vainilla cake, with mango-pineapple filling, we used grated coconut on top of the frosting, witch Emma suggested was mandarine flavored, i tought it was a good idea, so i agreed.

When we finished, we added whipped cream on top and we cut a slice for each one.

My mouth was watery as i grabbed with my fork a piece of the cake with mango-pineapple filling, at the same time i scooped up some frosting, and whipped cream, i tasted it all together.

And i made a face.

It was extremely bitter! And very sour! 

Yuck, i almost spit what i was chewing.

"Eww, bitter!" Mia mumbled, her mouth full.

"Maybe pineapple and mandarine wasn't the best idea" Elizabeth said, she excused herself to the bathroom.

"I think i acidentally got some mandarine rind in there" Emma said.

"Ew" i said, i grabbed a napkin and spit up what i had in my mouth and threw it away.

"Anyone want more?" Mia joked, wiping her reddened face.

"No!" I quickly said.

Elizabeth came back from the bathroom.

"That was the most disgusting cake the Sisters Club has ever baked!" She cried.

 "it was!" I said, giggling.

Emma and Mia nodded in agreement.

"I don't know about you guys, but im throwing this away" Emma scooped up the cake.

"Do it, don’t even leave it outside the street, no one would want to eat that" i laughed.

"Who would?" Mia joked, we all laughed again.

"You guys are the best! I wish i could shrink you all

And take you with me in my luggage!" I said.

"Aww!" Elizabeth said.

 On wednesday, i was asleep in my bed, the sun hadn't risen yet, but i knew i would be called any minute to get up.

I had a funny dream, i dreamt that i had a little magic water gun that could shrink anyone i wanted, i had packed it in my pocket and on the school hallway, i shrunk my friends and i packed them on my luggage, then i shrunk Olivia and Kasey, and i put them both

Chapter 2 

Heavy luggages 

In a little glass jar, they were really tight in there.

Then, the next day in my dream, i dreamt it was raining, and when i got out of my house, i discovered everyone had shrunk! Even the ants had shrunk!

I giggled in my bed as i heard the front door opening, i also heard my little sister, Addy, was running around, looking for her teddy bear.

I sat upright in my bed and i moved a red, frizzy lock out of my face.

"Sophie, time to get up!" I heard my mom say as she opened my bedroom door.

I flopped back on my bed and pulled the covers over 

My head.

"I know you are awake, Sophie" my mom said.

I didn't move a muscle.

"Time to go to the BEACH!! hurry! We don’t want to miss the plane!" Mom said.

I snapped awake and ran to my closet as mom walked out, smiling.

I pulled out my favorite pair of flair jeans, my old red shirt, and my brown belt.

After i was dressed, i threw my bear pijamas on my bed and while i was deciding on what headband to wear, i heard dad call at me "your luggage, Sophie!"

Thats when i remembered, i forgot to pack my bags!!

"Uuuh" i called back, pulling out my favorite white headband out of my drawer, i slipped it over my curly red hair and brushed my bangs out of my face.

"You didn't forget, did you?" Dad called.

"No! Totally not! Just getting dressed" i lied.

I quickly pulled my grayish blue luggage out of its shelf, opened it, and i instantly began to throw my best summer chlothing inside, i packed my yellow shorts with the matching white shirt with a tropical pink flower on it, all my new skirts, a sweater with a pretty star on it (never know when i will need it!) And

My toothbrush, sunscreen and my sunglasses, and of course, my blue swimsuit and my skirt that looks like a wrapped up towel witch i always wear over my swimsuits.

"SOPHIE!" My dad called as i flung my luggage closed and i was heading out of my room.

"Im here!" I said.

"Hurry, lets get in the car" mom said, dragging Addy and Alya, my little twin sisters, behind her.

The ride to the airport was long and boring, i texted my friends to let them know i was on my way.

I tapped on my phone and sent the text:

SophZeltzer (me): hi, girls! On my way to the airport!!

"you sure your friends are awake by now?" Mom laughed.

"Mom, it is 6:20!" I said.

My phone buzzed.

Rossimia: Cool! Let us know when you get there! 

I texted back.

SophZeltzer: i will! 

Rossimia: :)

Emalbright: hi girls! What are you doin' so early, Mia????

Rossimia: stuff... like textin' Sophie.

Elibrown: i keep yawning..

I giggled at Elizabeth's text.

SophZeltzer: me too! We are almost getting to the airport tough.

Emalbright: i will miss u so much!!!

Rossimia: me too!

Elibrown: literally crying right now.

Rossimia: gotta go 2 school! Text you later, sisters!

I smiled and shoved my phone into my pocket.

Just then, i saw a bright light fill the inside of our car.

It was the sunrise!!

"Beautiful!" I said airily.

When we got to the airport, we checked our bags, we did boring stuff like paperwork and stuff with the documents, and after ages, we entered a mini mall inside the airport, we walked, we shopped, we ate breakfast at  starbucks, and like four hours later, the plane arrived, and we got on.

The plane ride was very long too, but it was fun since

I could get to use my Ipod, and read my books, i mostly just hung around, slept when i wanted to and i watched a movie i downloaded on my phone.

It was like paradise... until Alya threw up.

Mom had to get her napkins, and she had to change her chlothes that she puked on.

It was chaotic for a while, until we arrived to the real paradise: the beach!

 When we left the airport and we were finally at the beach, Mom said we better get to our hotel.

So we took a taxi to where our hotel was, it was somewhere called Beachside Bay, witch made absolutely NO sense because of course it is beside the beach, because it is a bay! Get it? It totally makes no sense!

Chapter 3

But anyways, as we were getting closer to Beachside Bay, I got a text from Mia:

Rossimia: did you arrive yet?

i texted her back.

SophZeltzer: yes! Right now, we are in a taxi, we are going to our hotel in Beachside Bay.

Rossimia: Beachside Bay? Seriously??

SophZeltzer: i know it makes no sense at all, but im not complaining, it is actually beside the beach

Rossimia: Lucky duck!

SophZeltzer: text you later!

as soon as i finished texting Mia, we arrived at Beachside Bay, i looked out the window: everything was built with old, wobbly wood boards, even a little dock near the tiki bar, it made me super-mega nervous. I spotted a white building with a lot of 

Windows and a wood plate above the door, covered with bright palm leaves.

"Are we sleeping here?" Asked Addy.

"Yes! After the beach" my mom said cheerfuly.

"Mom, are you sure this is the best place to stay at?" I asked wearily.

"If anything happens, super dad will save you!" Dad said playfully.

i rolled my eyes.

"Why don’t you three go to the beach, i will catch you later" said mom.

i grabbed Alya and Addy's hand and headed for the 

Beach.

We walked along the sandy shore to the sea, where Addy and Alya ran to.

"Wait!!!" I cried, holding Alya's hand.

"What now?" Asked Addy.

"We need to change first! There are some dressing rooms" i said.

i walked my sisters to the dressing room and helped them in their swimsuits.

Then we ran outside, directly to the sea.

I was the first one to dive in.

"Cannon ball!" I cried.

Suddenly, I shruddered.

"It is so cold!" I said.

And i quickly got out.

"Hey!" Alya cried.

"yeah, Hey!!!" Addy said, jumping in the water.

"Im not swimming there, we are going to the pool" i said briskly, dragging both Addy and Alya with me.

"No!!" Alya cried.

"The pool is boring!!!" Addy joined her.

"Well, when mom and dad come, you can go back to that cold water" i shruddered again.

"And i will swim in the pool" i added when Alya shrie-

Ked.

"How do they stand cold water?" I tought.

Just then, mom and dad came at us and Addy and Alya ran to them.

"Mommy! Sophie is not being fun" Alya cried.

"She wants to go to the pool!" Addy said.

Mom looked at me.

"The water was cold, i couldn't stand it, period" i glared at my sisters.
