WHAT IS OCEAN?

An ocean is a vast of body of saltwater that covers about % 71 of Earth’s surface.Earth has five oceans named Pacific(the largest and deepest one),Atlantic,Indian,Antarctic and Arctic(the smallest and shallowest) oceans.

ARE THE OCEANS SILENT?

 OF COURSE no! The oceans have sound.In fact,there are several different kinds of ocean sounds and each comes from different physical sources

1-The sounds of waves:The roaring,foaming and breaking of waves hitting the shore feels like the ocean’s breathing.

2-The sound of wind over the ocean:It creates small waves and it looks like whispering something .

3-The sounds of marine animals:It is always noisy with whales dolphins and shrimps and also the others.

4-The earth’s own sounds under the ocean like earthquake,volcano

5-Ocean ambient noise:waves,winds,currents and marine life all combine to create sound that never stops.
