Lia always dreamed of power, of magic; she always wondered if it was real, if it was just a myth. Lia never knew what to think of power. Some scolded her because of her strange beliefs, but Lia was always open to new ideas.
People always told Lia that if she always believed in the possibility of anything, she would never make it in life, and Lia honestly did not care too much. She was always curious and wanted to learn new things, even if it meant she got hurt.
Lia lay in bed, with thoughts swirling in her mind, curiosity keeping her awake, when suddenly, she heard something fall into her backyard.
Lia, being the curious girl she is, went outside to see what it was. At first, it seemed it was nothing, when suddenly she saw a light, a powerful, bright light.
Lia went to investigate it; she tried touching it, and when she did, a book popped out of nowhere! It was a powerful book.
Lia slowly walked over to it, she couldn't believe her eyes, was magic and powers really real? Lia went to pick up the notebook, when a portal opened up!
Lia stared at the portal in awe; something about its presence alone compelled Lia. She couldn't help herself and then walked into the portal.
It was bright, full of color, and powerful. Lia was floating; she couldn't believe what had happened. Lia checked her surroundings; it seemed to be empty.
Lia couldn't walk, so she tried to steer herself in a certain direction and was successful. She checked to see if there was anything she was missing, and to her surprise, it looked like she had seen someone, a figure standing not too far away from her.
"Hello?" Lia called as she slowly approached the silhouette. Lia could see the figure turn around and then start to approach her. Lia went faster, curious to see who this person could be when they were somehow face-to-face the next second.
