While most mythical stories start at the
beginning with the "Once upon a time" theme,
and all that jazz, this one is different. It begins
somewhere in the middle, that is, somewhere in
the middle of all the events that shaped our unique
island.
This is the tale of the one event that changed
our small island forever, the incident of the stolen
epic slice of pizza. That's right, I said . . . PIZZA.

Or, should I say a catastrophe that changed
our great island forever.
Before I begin, allow me to introduce
myself. I'm Dr. Theodore Weenie, the ruler of
Miscellaneous Island, which we'll call Misc.
Island for short. Our island got its name from
all the miscellaneous people and things that
live here.

We could wish for a Big Mac!
Let's not, Ellen.our health is bad
enough.
Y'all stillhaven't let me
wish for a unicorn.

That's just a silly wish, Sally!

For example, we have mermaids and merman,
horsemen, phoenix, and all those unusual things.
We have lions, tigers, and bears, Oh My! And . . .
then there's all different kinds of people who live
here from the very young to the very old, and all
the unusual folks in between.
But, I suppose the most intriguing thing
about our little island is wishes do come. You
may wish for for any one thing up to seven times
and it will be granted.

Why don't you wish forpizza, or something that
makes sense?
Well, wishing for pizza is what got Horseman and
Merman into a dilemma.

I know what you are probably thinking, "Wow,
I
can wish for anything I want and it will happen?"
But you see, it was these wishes that put us in the
middle of a humongous disturbance that almost
tore
Misc. Island apart.
So you might say my story begins with a last
wish for an epic slice of pizza. So, this is how it
all happened . . .

Horseman, a centaur on the island loved pizza. He had
wished for pizza six times and it had been granted to him.
Then, on his seventh wish for pizza, he wished for an epic
pizza of great proportions because he knew that it was the
last time he could wish for pizza. Since he loved pizza so
much, he decided to ration it out so that it would last longer.
He dug a hole underneath a large rock and placed his pizza
in a special box in the hole. Then he wished that his pizza
would stay fresh until he ate the last piece of it. And so it
was, or so it almost was.
Each day at noon, he went to his special hiding place,
took one piece of pizza out of the box, and laid it on the rock
like it was on a table. Alone in the noon-day sun, he savored
every bite, and all was well on Misc. Island until . . .

THIS MEANS WAR!!!!

For crying out loud,it's just a piece of pizza!

He arrived one day at his special place and saw his best
friend, Merman, sitting upon the rock eating his last piece
of epic pizza. This made Horseman furious.
"What do you think you are doing!!" He shouted. "How
did you find that?" He inquired as Merman looked up at
him with a sly grin spread across his face.
"I followed you yesterday to see where you were going
every day at noon." He replied.
"That's my last piece of pizza!" Horseman shouted!
"But, I'm your best friend. Should you not have shared it
with me?" Merman calmly replied. Merman's relaxed
demeanor fueled Horseman's rage, so he called in his
mighty cat warriors from the east and declared war on
Merman.
