Greenleaf Forest wasn’t just any forest...It was a loud, squawking, splashing, growling place full of life! All the plants, animals, water, sunlight, and soil working together made one giant ecosystem. And trust me… things were about to get wild.

Up in the sky floated Sunny the Sun, shining like a giant flashlight. His light helped the trees, grass, and flowers make their own food. That’s why plants are called producers, they don’t wait for snacks, they MAKE them!

RUBY THE RABBIT’S SNACK ATTACK

Science Term: Herbivore

Ruby the Rabbit was hopping through the meadow yelling, “SALAD TIME!” She only eats plants, which makes her a herbivore. Her energy comes straight from producers and from eating WAY too much grass.

FINN THE FAST FOX ON THE HUNT

From behind the bushes, sneaky Finn the Fox whispered, “Dinner time…” Finn only eats animals, making him a carnivore. Carnivores keep animals from overpopulating plus Finn really likes dramatic entrances.

Bella the Bear strolled by eating berries, fish, and honey all at once. Since she eats BOTH plants and animals, she’s an omnivore. Basically… Bella eats EVERYTHING.
