Roseline has been employed in the Elementary Schools within the Clark County School District in Southern Nevada since 2013.  She is involved in the youth development through both academics and sports, promoting the proper physical, mental and emotional growth of children.  

        She found inspiration to write her story when she was a child, and in this book, she shares a tale drawn from her experience during afterschool time at her grandmother's house. 

        This book particular provides other various children's activities that are not typically part of the regular school curriculum. 

Immediately after school,  Roseline, along with her classmates, rushes out on her scooter. 

Roseline heads to Grandma Rose's house.

Arriving at Grandma's house, she always leaves her backpack in the kitchen, grabs a juice from the fridge and runs to see Grandma in the TV room.

In the TV room, Grandma Rose is sewing with Minette the cat while waiting for Roseline to arrive.  Hearing Roseline, she leaves the sewing machine, puts on her jacket and gets something to drink.  

Roseline loves being with Grandma.  As soon as she sees Grandma, she hugs her and begins telling how she spent the day at school.  Grandma sits and listens to Roseline's story then says, "I'm glad to hear you had a good day at school!  The kids next door ask about you earlier.  Get ready to go outside and put on different clothes, Roseline!"

After changing clothes, Roseline shouts, "Skate Time!" while sliding outside the front door on her skateboard to join her friends.

Outside Remy is on his skateboard, Robin is on his scooter, Jean is on her roller and Bobby is on his bicycle waiting for Roseline to go on a fun ride! 

Roseline sees Sunita who wants to play the shoelace race.   Big Jerome, Precious, little Ashley and Sunita get ready to compete. Roseline takes over the stopwatch. They are fastening their shoelaces the fastest. Precious won!
