The Earth is our common home, so we must protect it....

Anna and Samuel are two excelent students who study at the same school, and have even sat at the same desk for years. They had just learned at school that a plant grows from a seed.
The teacher told them to do their own experiment and see how the seed sprouts. That day they were thinking about the seed they had experimented with and couldn't wait to get home.
The bell rang and they headed home.
Each decided to start the experiment as
soon as they got home. Lost in thought,
they greeted each other and headed home.

The yard of Anna's house was full of flowers and trees. But Anna wanted her plant to be more special and stand out from all the plants. - Grandpa, I arrived, - Anna
exclaimed happily, hugging her grandfather full of love.
- Have you come, Grandpa's light?
- Yes, - Grandpa. I want you to help me because I have a task to do, I need a seed to put in the jar and when it sprouts I'll plant it in
the school garden.
– Of course, Grandpa’s light. I have kept a special seed for a long time. It is not like the others. This seed has a secret. It only grows when you take care of it with love and patience. Only gentle hearts can discover its magic.

-Then, I will plant it very carefully! I will
water it every day and talk to it like a little friend, - said Ana full of enthusiasm.
– Take care of it like a treasure. When it sprouts, you will realize that love is the strongest seed in the world, - added her grandfather.
Anna carefully took the seed and planted
it in the jar, feeling that a strange story
had just begun...

Samuel sat by the window, holding the jar.
As he covered the seed with a little soil, he began to talk to himself: "I will plant it carefully… even though it is an ordinary seed,
perhaps it can show me something special. I
must water it every day, not forgetting a single morning. If it grows, it will be like a test of my patience. What if it does not sprout at all? No, I must not think likethat. Every seed needs hope. I will be patient, and perhaps one day this little plant will reward me.”
He smiled slightly, feeling that he had made
a small promise with his heart.

– Samuel, hurry up! The tree looks
gloomy today… the leaves have withered, says Ana worriedly.
– But yesterday it was full of life! What happened?
-When one of you is missing, my heart weakens. I only grow when you take care of me together, - added Little Tree.
– So, it’s not enough for one to come… we have to be together, - the children spoke in unison.

My strength is related tο friendship and cooperation. When you are close to each other with an open heart, I feel your love and I grow.
– We promise to take care of you always, together! We have now understood that your strength is related to our friendship and cooperation. We will tell our classmates this too.

From that day forward, Anna and began visiting the Little Tree every
morning before class.
Sometimes Anna brought water, while Samuel carefully loosened the soil.
Gradually, the Little Tree began to look healthier. Its leaves grew greener, and a small new branch appeared.
Samuel, look
One morning, Anna suddenly stopped.
-Samuel, look! It has a new leaf! Samuel smiled.
The teacher, who was arranging books on her desk, looked over and walked toward them.
- What is happening here? - she asked kindly.
think it likes it when we are together, - he said. It has a new leaf!
Samuel smiled.“I think it likes it when we are together,” he said. Aysel Bahadır 15 Temmuz Şehitleri iH Secondary School

The children gathered around the plant.
- Why is this tree so different? - one of
the students asked.
- Because it grows with care, patience,
and friendship, - answered softly Anna
The teacher listened carefully and
nodded with a warm smile.
- Then this is not just a science experiment, - she said. It is a lesson for all of us.
The children planted the small tree in the school garden. Each day, different students helped take care of it— watering it, talking to it, or simply sitting beside it.
Surrounded by caring hearts, the Little Tree stood proudly, growing a little more with each passing day. Aysel Bahadır 15 Temmuz Şehitleri iH Secondary School

One afternoon, dark clouds covered the sky. A strong wind began to blow and heavy rain fell in the school garden.
.
-Samuel, do you think the Little Tree will be okay? - asked asked Anna worried.
The next morning , they ran outside to see it.
The Little Tree was wet and a little bent, but
it was still standing.
-It stayed strong! Samuel said with a smile .
And then they noticed something new.
A small, bright green leaf had appeared.

The teacher gathered the students around the tree.
– What did we learn? – she asked.
-When we take care of something together, it grows stronger, - answered Anna softly.
-Just like friendship, - added Samuel.
From that day on, the Little Tree
reminded everyone that love, patience
and cooperation can help us
grow-even after the storm.

As autumn slowly arrived, the air grew cooler and the leaves in the school garden began to change color. The Little Tree, now taller than before, seemed to watch the playground quietly as children ran and laughed around it. One morning, Anna noticed that a few of its leaves had turned yellow.

“
- Samuel, is it sick? - she whispered worriedly. Samuel touched one of the leaves gently and remembered what they had learned in class. - - No,- he said thoughtfully, - maybe it is just changing, like everything else in nature.
Still, both of them felt a small wave of concern.
That week, the weather became unpredictable. Some days were sunny and warm, while others were cold and windy. The students continued their care, but they began to wonder if they were doing enough. The Little Tree no longer spoke as often as before, and its silence made them curious.

One afternoon, while Anna was watering the roots, she noticed something unusual in the soil—tiny green sprouts growing close to the trunk.
-Samuel, look at this!- she called excitedly. These weren’t here before.
They knelt down to observe the small shoots pushing bravely through the earth.
- Do you think the tree is trying to
tell us something again? - Samuel asked quietly.
The wind rustled through the branches
as if carrying a secret message.

One day, their teacher gathered the students in the garden and said,
“This garden is not just a school garden anymore. It is a place where love, sharing, and responsibility grow.”
Anna and Samuel looked at each other and smiled. They realized that the story that began with a tiny seed had now grown into a beautiful friendship with nature and all living things.
From that day on, the students continued to protect the garden and care for every living creature. Because they had learned something important:
Even small acts of kindness can make the world a better place.

The next day, Anna and Samuel visited the
Little Tree again. The tiny sprouts looked
greener and stronger.
- I think they are growing because someone cares for them, - said Anna smiled.
- Then let's help them even more, - nodded Samuel.
They told their teachers about their idea, and soon the whole class joined. The students cleaned the area, watered the soil, and planted new seeds.
Day by day, the place turned into a small,
beautiful garden full of life.

The real world after the magical
forest disappeared. At first, they
thought everything that had
happened was just a dream, but
they noticed that the school
garden had become more beautiful
and full of life. Samuel found a

so they realized that what
happened was real.
