The moon has many interesting features. It is covered in gray dust and rocks. The surface has many craters from space rocks hitting it. Some areas are flat and smooth while others have tall mountains. The moon has no air and no weather and it is very dry and dusty. " Scientists believe that the Moon formed early in the solar system’s history after Earth and an object about the size of Mars smashed into each other." I think that this means they are looking at signs from moon rocks. The moon looks bright when sunlight reflects off its surface.
Description: What is the Moon like?
Exploring space is difficult because there is no air or gravity. Astronauts cannot survive in space without protection. To solve this problem scientists created spacesuits that provide oxygen. "The suits protect astronauts from getting too hot or cold, and also give astronauts oxygen to breathe while they are working in space," this is another way mentioned that astronauts can survice in space. Spacecraft were also built to safely carry astronauts. These inventions help humans travel and work in space. Because of these solutions space exploration is possible.
Problem & Solution: What problems did astronauts face in space?
Earth and Mars are both planets in our solar system. They both have land and experience seasons. However Earth has water and air that support life. Mars is much colder and has very little air. Earth has many living things, but Mars does not. "Like Earth, Mars has seasons, polar ice caps, volcanoes, canyons, and weather," is what NASA said about how they are similar. Comparing them helps scientists learn if humans could visit or live on Mars someday.
