''Hello! I am in Kallithea, a beautiful city in Greece. I am visiting the 8th Primary school. The children here are very friendly. They want to show me something important.''

Look, Greeny! In our school,we recycle inside our classrooms. We have small bins for paper and plastic.

When the bins are full,we take them outside. We empty them into the big recycling bin in the school yard.

We don't throw paper,cardboard tubes or bottle caps in the trash. We give them a new life! Recycling starts in our classroom and it is easy and fun!''

This is our new recycling station and we put paper in the yellow bin, plastic in the red, glass in the green, cartons in the dark blue and metals in the blue bin.

Hello, Agrinio!

Güneşli bir günde Greeny, Agrinio'daki 4. İlkokulu ziyaret etti. Öğrenciler Dünya'ya yardım etmeye hazırdı! Eldiven takarak okul bahçesinden plastik ve cam topladılar. Sonra her şeyi mavi geri dönüşüm kutularına attılar. Greeny neşeyle şöyle dedi: "Harika iş çıkardınız, herkes! Gerçek geri dönüşüm kahramanlarısınız!"

The next day, Greeny followed the students into the city of Agrinio. They walked through the streets and parks, picking up litter and recyclables. Plastic and glass went straight into the blue recycling bins. Greeny smiled and said: “Thanks to you, Agrinio is cleaner and happier! Keep protecting the planet!”

We happily welcomed Greeny to our town and our school and showed him what we are doing to preserve our Planet...

We are learning about proper waste sorting and recycling. 

We have made and placed waste sorting bins in several classrooms in our school.

Every year we celebrate World Water Day and Earth Day through various environmental activities.

We feed the birds and use recycled plastic liners for our containers.

Gazi Secondary School / Türkiye

Hello! Today I'm in Perşembe, a quiet district of Ordu, Türkiye's green city. I'm visiting Gazi Secondary School. It's an environmentally friendly school located by the sea.

Hi Grenny! Welcome to our school.

Hi Kids! I'm Grenny, an environmental hero.

These children are very environmentally conscious. They are eco-friendly. I met them while they were doing a litter collection activity with their parents. I also joined them in the environmental cleanup effort.

This school has waste bins on every floor, and students support recycling by throwing their trash into the bins designated for each type of waste.

The collected and separated waste is recycled and used to create various design products.

Children tracked their carbon footprints for a cleaner world.
