Once upon a time, there was a little girl named
Anna who knew just about everything about
anything, or so she thought. Her friends believed
her to be a genius, so they nicknamed her
"Anna the Expert."
One day when Anna's school went on a field trip
to the zoo, all her classmates looked to her for the
answers to all their questions about zoo life.

First, they walked by the monkey cages.
"Wow. Look at that cool monkey!" Shouted Alexis
"He sure has a strange tale. I don't think I've ever
seen a tale that long." Alexis laughed.
"That's because it's not a tale, Alexis. It's a water hose."
Anna calmly stated.
"A water hose?" Questioned Alexis. "But, why would a
monkey have a water hose instead of a tail?"
"To water his banana trees, of course. You see,
monkeys like lots of bananas, and bananas
need a lot of water, so monkeys have built-in water hoses
to water their banana trees." Anna explained.
"Oh, I see." Alexis replied. "That makes sense."

Then they walked over to the elephants.
"Look Anna! What are those white things coming
out of the elephant's nose?" Ally asked.
"Oh? those things?" Said Anna. "Well, those are
white spikes."
"Why do they have white spikes?" Ally asked.
"Well elephants enjoy milk and that's where they
store all of it. The spikes are really clear, you see, the
milk in them makes them look white." Answered
Anna.
"Wow Anna. You sure are smart. You know
everything!" Ally proclaimed.
"Yes, Anna, you are the smartest person I know."

Then they went to see the giraffes.
"Look Anna! What are those things are on top of
the giraffe's head?" Ally asked. Without hesitation,
Anna answered Ally and told her exactly what they
were.
"Why those are antennas, Ally." Anna proclaimed.
"But why does a giraffe need antennas?" Asked
Ally.
"Didn't you know that giraffes like to listen to
music? They can hear music from far away with those
antennas." Claimed Anna.
"Wow. Do they like to dance, too?" Ally asked.
"Well, maybe when no one is around." Remarked
Anna.
