Bittersweetness:
I wrote this on Monday, April 13th, 2026 to be exact. I’m not really comfortable about sharing what it is about, but I’ll just say that it hits really close to home for me.
I feel the cool wind on my cheek. It stings.
The air sings of bittersweet memories.
Lost in a swirling storm of sadness and regret.
However close it may seem, it is always out of reach.
The scent of the leafy plants send me spiraling back
To the heights of the mountain peaks
The garden full of home made food
The other garden, named Nectar Garden too.
Oh how I wish to see that place again
Where the blinding bright sun flashes warm on my cheeks
Where flowers bloom and brighten
Where it’s obvious, the salty tang of the sea.
The Golden Gate Bridge stands calmly, watching the vehicles
Stunning, strong, and simply a masterpiece.
And now I shall wait
For my day to come
To ease the sorrow in my heart
Tugging at the thought
Of transporting back
Please don’t leave.
Not forever.
Wait for me.
Greed:
I wrote this on April 14th, 2026, and it’s about the greed of men and cravings for things that are well, KIND of useless, I mean you can’t eat it, can’t draw on it, can’t really learn anything about life from it, all you can do is admire it and sell it for money, not everything, just well, the jewels and gold and expensive stuff.
You can’t stare at it for too long.
The blinding beauty of jewels,
Yet it’s just a facade to hide it’s true horror
The greed of the men who want gold
Craving for endless pieces
But actually, gold is kind of useless,
Why would you want that?
If you have something fresher and truer.
The ripe apples glistening in the morning sun,
Shining like rubies.
The sapphire blue lakes spilling enchanted water,
Clear as crystal.
Don’t go yearning for what you can’t have.
SunFlower:
I don’t know the exact date I wrote it, but I think it was when I was 7. I’m not seven now obviously I have grown up, and it is about a person. A friend. A bestie I actually. Well, left.
